I'm a huge fan of their street tacos. Perfect if you want something quick and light. Finally they do Nachos, which is from the $5 menu. They were pretty good, except the guac is to lime. Make sure you ask for a fork.

The nachos were super delicious, they use a different meat from the Pollo Bowl and Tacos El Carbon, the meat is very flavorful.

I always come here and they've been consistent in providing fresh food, great service, clean environment and the nicest staff. You can't go wrong coming here.

Fantastic value, and I can get a generous side salad as one of my sides without an extra charge. I've waited for years for an El Pollo Loco in my area Cuzco I love the chicken. Also love the vibrating alert thingy they give you when you wait for your order.

My go-to for crispy chicken tacos

Had to wait a little longer for the whole chicken we ordered but it was worth it. Chicken was tender and the service was great. Their sauce bar is awesome. Serrano peppers are extra spicy :)

The chicken was tender and had crispy skin. To top it all off, the music in the background made it more amusing to eat. Definitely recommend coming here.

Super delicious food, love to come here after a hard day of work to pick up a family meal to take home to my kids and husband. The chicken is always so juicy and tender! And you can definitely taste the quality in the food! Always a pleasure to come back to this pollo loco.

They are still going through some learning curves on service, but the food is great, and management seems to be handling everything well. There are healthier options such as wraps, and plenty of small snacking options for kids. Drive through is fast and efficient. El Pollo loco has always been pretty good. Don't expect authentic Mexican, but it's great for a simple meal. Dining area is very clean and enjoyable.

Great service and food at this location! I average probably one visit a week and have had no major issues. The chicken and sides are always fresh and tasty and employee's are very friendly.

Today I had a very pleasant experience during my visit to this establishment. The food was delicious, everyone was very kind, and Miss Erika was super amazing. I highly recommend the experience at this place.

4 stars just because my expectations are low from this place. Cleaner than last vist. Huge room for improvement. Alert: bring your tooth picks. They fixed their teeth and they don't provide them no more. Chicken place with no tooth picks. I wonder what is the next cost saving intelligent suggestions they will adopt. Here is one, replace the chicken meat cheaper meat, pork maybe?

It was okay. Not the citrusy taste I remember from a few years back which I loved. I still mostly enjoyed my food even tho the chx was a bit over cooked and meat dust.

The service is great, the ammount of food is excelente. The churros are exquisite! However, the chicken flavor could improve and also try to remove so many bones from it.

I like their signature grilled chicken. The staffs are nice and friendly. Customer service is good. The business seems not bad, so I would expect fresh ingredients due to the positive cycle. The free salsa runs out at times.

I frequent this place. I've never been inside, as dining in is an antiquated notion. Their one of only a few places with a drive-thru. That's the secret to their business success in this area. They are making money hand over fist compared to the Taco Bell right next door. Nobody wants to spend 10 minutes finding a parking place just to eat a quick meal inside. Fast food is named "fast food" for a reason. El Pollo Loco does a good job at that.

Could not cash in any of the promotions that prompted me to order in the first place. Very disappointing and the first time that this has happened. Also for the first time they required me to call in to get my order brought out curbside. I love the keto offerings though.

Great food, I'm glad they expanded to the bay area and will be adding a location closer to my home in texas. They use to have a dessert machine that made like slushies...loved it hope they bring it back. Haven't been able to try the flan it's always sold out. So I'm assuming it must be good. Service at the Fallow Rd store drive in is a bit slow, though I'll come back because the food is great.

This is a nice place to get some tasty chicken. Obviously not recommended for vegans but if you're not, you should try it. The restraint and restrooms are fairly clean and usually not to crowded. (Not sure if that's a good though)

The food is OK, service is good, staff is friendly, parking is easy. But the taste just isn't that good. Baja Fresh is a far better choice.

This is one of my main stops for lunch, absolutely love the fiery chicken nacho $5 combo but lately the chips are always soggy in the food has been cold. Disappointing hopefully it changes before I start going to taco Bell

Chicken was dry. Got the 4pc combo... Rice isn't good. It's edible but not great.. black beans were good. Tortillas not the best. Salad was a 5 out of 10...

Love their chicken but they get a 3-star because they are not consistent. Best time to grab a bite would be during lunch rush when chicken is at it's best.

The food is great service was good,however make sure you check you order before you leave on to go orders.I have been a victim of not checking and get home with no gravy for my mashed potatoes and on another visit I was not given the salad dressing I ordered.

The food is unquestionably good, but paid for a combo, that did not include a drink. And they wanted $2.59 for a SMALL soda. Robbery like that is what's wrong with the world. Also, zero personality from the people working there.

Update: 4/23 went thru drive thru this time and they didn’t give us any condiments and gave us flour tortillas instead or corn. Unfortunately too far to drive back. Meant to review this place since we visited. My family and I stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the staff and someone who I believedwas the manager. They were all very friendly and food tasted great.

Food was good but service was slow. I ordered to eat in and the wait was about 15 mins but then I ordered a 10 chicken only to go and it took 30 mins for that order. Apparently they get a lot of food delivery orders, from what I saw, so you would think they could have more staff on hand to help out. They only had 3 possibly 4 guys working on a busy Sunday night. Food was good and fresh though. I don't blame the staff on hand, they were doing their best, but management should staff accordingly....

Let me start by saying, I have NEVER given a 3 star review before. The food was good. THE SERVICE WAS AWEFUL. Staff members were sitting at the tables chatting and we stood at the counter for 8 mins then an associate saw us and came over with attitude, got our order wrong. The restrooms were aweful and their card reader was out of order. They were taking cash only. When we handed the associate a $50 bill, she rolled her eyes and gave us the change forcefully. If good service is what you are looking for, there is a Taco Bell nextdoor that probably wants your business more.

I enjoyed the chicken burrito even though it seemed like it had a couple of old pieces of chicken in it. The salsa bar was messy and salsa was spilled around the bar along with cups, straws, napkins, and lids laying about and the bathroom was really dirty and I was surprised that things were in this condition because they weren't really busy and a few of the employees were just talking to each other.

Food was good and hours are great especially for a late dinner. However a car was towed at 9:30 PM when there were few cars. The car was parked away from the buildings and was not blocking traffic. Guess I have issues about the possibility of my vehicle being illegally towed resulting in large fees in addition to the inconvenience of having to find the towing company.

they need to pay more attention when they get the order or preparing the order because they forgot ingredients requested that is not included and is already paid or when ordering a drink they don't ask the size just assume is large.

Watch out when ordering to go. Ordered family size for to go on the drive thru... Got home and wow... 3 pieces less... Asked for thigh and drum sticks. Gave me wings... Food is average.

Poor service. The person taking the order in the drive thru was very rude. She had a very thick accent which i could barely understand. Then she got rude when i ssked her to repeat. Food is over priced and very bland. I ordered and paid for avacado...never got it. I'm happier watching the ads on TV.

This is my 2nd visit to this store. They seem to be constantly behind on orders and a little lacking in staff. I ordered the "limited time" double chicken nachos and the meat was chewy, like it had been sitting in a warmer for too many hours. I wasn't very satisfied and didn't finish my meal.

I order a few items and things where missing...they forget the cheese and cilantro with my Tortilla soup also I order a small but was charged and received a large. My taco shells where not browned only warmed.

Nice customer service in the drive-thru. Dirty countertop where the person placed my bag and put food in it. As I continued to waited the person does not clean the smashed tomatoes and lettuce, but begins walking around. It's not busy with customers inside or drive thru therefore clean up the area.

Service was slow. Just over 10 minutes before I was even able to place my order and that was walking in, not drive thru. Once my order was placed, I received my food quickly. Chicken was over cooked. Sides were good. Dinning room and salsa bar was messy.

The customer service at this location is terrible. The store is opened @10 AM including the drive through, however, whenever I go at the 10 AM time, the drive through, they always tell you to go inside. What's the point of having a drive through? Yesterday, I waited a good 5 minute for him take my order (I believe he was manager), at the end of the five minute he tells me to go inside. He didn't even apologize for the wait. Other than the bad customer service, the food is good.

I have been to this location twice. The first time the burrito orders were all messed up and contained beans which we ordered to be omitted on each and all burritos ordered. We all drove away took a bite of our burritos in the car and all had beans. We returned via the slow drive through and had to get them made again. Today, gave them another chance and two of the Tinga burritos were ordered and were the dryest, "hardly any chicken" burritos ever. Still have no idea why one was grilled and the other wasn't. I gave them a second shot. I am obviously not lucky in the burrito department. not trying for a third time, charm or not.

Amazing food, very delicious, but both my wife and I cough lots of flem, plus I ordered a chicken fajitas with extra shrimp, twice and both times they didn't put any shrimp in it. Not happy!

One of the female employees came to the window to complain to me on how come I didn't order in spanish .....

I get tea all the time and there's tasted like either they have never cleaned the tea dispenser or something crawled in there and died. I couldn't even drink it. Just poured it out. The smell and after taste was disgusting.

Will never go back again. Waited 5-8 minutes in line to order. Waited another 28 minutes and NO FOOD yet. I asked about my order . Seemed like they didn't know what happened. I asked for refund. Need more staff..

How about putting some avocado and dressing on the $15 Double Chicken Avocado salad? Super frustrating

I've done their drive thru before but the sit in restaurant is no good. It takes forever to get served. There are always workers in there with their families. Every time we go in to sit there are workers on their breaks while we are waiting for food. There was a guy on break sitting right behind us and speaking on his phone with speaker on the entire time just being super loud. Is it normal for anyone to sit in a restaurant and talk super loud and with a super loud speaker phone? The bathroom had no soap or paper towels so workers are not washing their hands, the salsa bar was at the dregs. The Pico de Gallo had an off flavor to it, most salsa was empty. They showed no plans to restock the salsa and the drinks also kind of suspect. The tea dribbles out like it's stuck or something. They don't tell you your food is ready and don't give you plates and forks. The chicken doesn't come out hot. I hope they fix this location because we really like the ones we have been to at other locations. I saw a worker cutting food out of a bag...I don't think they make things fresh there anymore :(

Have ordered online three times for lunch and all three times they got the order wrong. All three times ordered double chicken avocado salad and two of the three times there was no chicken in the salad. This last time there was very little chicken and no avocado. They also got the burrito order wrong. I asked the person at the window if there is double chicken in the avocado salad and he said, "Yes." I'm sure he didn't even check. Am very disappointed with this location, but the chicken is tasty... when you get some in your order. Huge disappointment!

Coming from someone that eats at this franchise I can tell you that it's not as good (yet) both times I went their I got sick. This place is new so it has some things to work out. Oh yeah and both times my corn chips were way to stale. Go there at your own risk. I'll update this review if it improves.

Absolutely worst service I have ever received at a fast food restaurant. They are not trained on how to use their system properly. The drive thru attendant could not get my card to work so she threw the food at me and slammed the window shut when I requested that she tried it one more time. They can't hear the order thru their drive thru intercom and they get upset when you try to correct them. The inside is a mess. There wasn't any ice, napkins, straws and you are putting them out by requesting anything. There is a Taco Bell right next door, honestly that would be the better choice.

Expect to wait a loooong time. It's not busy they are just understaffed. The lady cutting the chicken is also taking orders... She isn't washing her hands or putting on gloves after handling cash... Yuk... Place is pretty dirty! Someone is going to get sick.

Place looks nice, pretty clean but the most important thing is the food. Last 2 times we got taquitos they are not cooked all the way and cold. We ate there both times so no way they "cooled" off that fast. Unfortunately I have to say this particular location is not on my list I'd places to recommend. If ya want pollo loco done right I'd say go to the Hayward location. Extremely disappointed mainly cuz I love pollo loco....

They forgot my flour tortillas and mashed potatoes in my order. I went thru the drive thru and didn’t realize till I got home. Do they not check? Before giving the customer the food? And they didn’t give me a receipt either.

You shouldn’t even be near where food is prepped without proper sanitation before gloving up. 🤢 I can’t come back after seeing that. CROSS CONTAMINATION IS NOTHING TO PLAY WITH!!!

I ordered the avocado burrito and it was disgusting. The burrito was made with lettuce it had two small pieces of chicken and no avocado. I also ordered chips and they were stale. There is a management issue here. The quality of the food is not the quality I have experienced at any other Pollo Loco. I should have gone to the Taco Bell next door.

I love El Pollo Loco, but this a poorly run location. The people that work there are nice people. However, everything runs slow from the order entry, to preparing the food, etc. The salsa bar is never stocked, lids for salsa, salsa cups are always out. The tables are never cleaned. The Hayward location takes easily 3 times as many customers and keeps the above items stocked. I feel this location loses customers due to the slow service. I hope they can make adjustments because this has to affect the profitability of this location. I apologize for such a negative review, but someone has to know whats going on.

My catering was a bust. Our family enjoys the food at this restaurant and we visit this place more than 2 times a week. I ordered food for our party online the previous night for a party at 3pm next day. I got a confirmation. I tried calling them on the day of party multiple times. I don't get a response. My pickup time was 2pm. Finally I get them on the phone while driving to pickup around 2.3p and the manager says they are not ready. After a brief altercation over the phone, they agree to make the order for me. I go the restaurant, they charge me for the order immediately and ask me to wait. No word of apology or how much time I need to wait. I continue to wait for more than 15minutes and continue to ask for the wait time. They still don't give me a response. After more than 20minutes I get my order. No signs apology except they said that I was not there on time (ie.2pm) to pickup. Anyway I wanted to write this post so that anyone else making catering order at this place are careful and ensure they go in person and get a confirmation.

We came to this store and waited for 20 minutes at the cashier for someone to take our order, and no one even addressed us. A line built up behind us and all the workers were extremely nonchalant. We tried to get someone’s attention but no one even looked at us. We left after 20 minutes, along with others in line behind us.

Waited 25 mins to get food. Incompetent management, workers don't know what they're doing EDIT to owner: I've always loved the chain and what is stands for. The food is good, it's a nice new store. Really just need better training for the staff and definitely willing to try again

Food is horrible beans are bland no flavor, rice, no flaver, canned corn and chicken is ok burrito steak and ckicken are horrible and grave or sauce.Dessert Churro is ok. It's always a wait before they even acknowledge you to order. i would never go back.

I hope manager or owner responds back The employee mexican lady with glasses is very rude and lacks customer service, i order thru drive thru and she took my card and didn't give back til after she gave my order and I had to ask for it back, she tried running my card again and said it didn't go thru and I gave her a different card and checked my app and showed her it went thru and pending and she said no it didn't go thru and tried my other card and said same thing. Before I could talk she just told me to leave. I assume she is a supervisor or manager because the last time I was there she was giving a hard time to a new employee about a door dash order. I've dealt with her before and she lacks customer service and patience. There is another employee soft spoken that is super nice and patience. She by far is the total opposite. I'm on my way to work but next time I will express my displeasure to her if I go back to the store. If my charge didn't go thru then why do I have a pending charge?? I asked for chips instead of tortilla and she said no. Maybe that's policy but I've done it in the past before. Just the way she communicates is very unpleasant.

Absolutely horrible I ordered a pollo bowl with just chicken due to my dietary restrictions I can’t have anything else. I usually get a size able portion from any other pollo loco compensating for the lack of everything else.. but nope! I paid five dollars for a laughable pathetic amount of chicken shame on the employees they act like it comes out of their pockets.

Chicken 🐣 🍗 is no fresh, it is stiff and super skinny, it actually looks like a quail 👎🏻. Super expensive salad for the quality and size. Why do they abuse? do the owners have quality control?

Absolutely horrible I ordered a pollo bowl with just chicken due to my dietary restrictions I can’t have anything else. I usually get a size able portion from any other pollo loco compensating for the lack of everything else.. but nope! I paid five dollars for a laughable pathetic amount of chicken shame on the employees they act like it comes out of their pockets.

Chicken 🐣 🍗 is no fresh, it is stiff and super skinny, it actually looks like a quail 👎🏻. Super expensive salad for the quality and size. Why do they abuse? do the owners have quality control?

I am on a very tight budget and fast food is a treat for me…I have ate at the Dublin ca 6-7 times in the past with no complaints, but this time was different..I did an online survey and got $3 off all 8 piece chicken only meal…The guy at the drive thru window was very nice but the chicken, oh my GOD, had obviously been sitting on the grill warming for way too long…The skin was so tough like leather was not edible …And the meat was sooo dry…This was my one treat myself meal for the week and it was literally not edible…I ended up throwing most of it away…I’m so disappointed!!!
