Every visit here for me is a pleasant experience,EVERY TIME BEST Whataburger in Wichita Falls County The manager and crew on day shift deserve an applause for their friendly service,fresh food and fast service. I haven't been there on the night shift but with such a great manager I'm sure it's just as well. Thank you Burkburnett store!
I was there in Burkburnet the other evenig and heard the boss telling his people that if he sees someone spill or drop anything on the floor and just walk away from it and not clean it up, he would write them up. That's the kind of boss that I like for sure. It absolutely irks me to go into a place and see stuff and fries and such all over the place. It let's me know they do t care about my food either, so that place will be marked off my list of stops in the future. And word of mouth kicks in too so they loose more than just me after that. Thumbs up to the gentleman that was running the place that night. My kind off BOSS...
The assistant manager Jessica helped us in our time of need. After making sure her team was set,she went outside and changed a tire for us.We are so grateful for her help,she went above and beyond to help strangers . She did something for strangers that was not in the scope of her job description. Would think she is more manager material than assistant. Thank you. You need more Jessica's in your employ.
This order was done to perfection. We ordered the double meat whataburger & I don't know what was done differently but this burger was the best one we have had in a long time from whataburger. I'm thinking the cook put good vibes in my patties as they were cooking and flowed on to the burger. I don't know what was different but whoever cooked our burger THANK YOU YOU HAVE RESTORED OUR Faith for whataburger. For a long while we were not receiving anything that even resembled anything to WHATABURGER STANDARDS.
We don't have Whataburger in WV - was visiting from WV. The thing that made this a wonderful experience was the people. The food was ok but nothing I couldn't get at home in WV. The special part was the friendly service and the workers who made me feel at home - even though I was 2 thousand miles away, will never forget that Buffalo Ranch!!
There are two places I always have to go when traveling to Texas. One of those two places is Whataburger. No matter if it’s OKC, DFW, or Midland/Odessa, TX, Whataburger, never disappoints. Great food, budget friendly, fast and friendly service, personable employees, and well kept/clean facilities, with a side of table service for every dine-in patron. You couldn’t ask for anything better in a fast food restaurant!
Every order made fresh to order. As with all fast food places, you've gotta check your order after you get it. They're only human, and sometimes they make mistakes. They're helpful and will do their best to fix it if they DO happen to make a mistake on your order.
Been coming here for 15 years. Love just about everything on their menu. Staff is always smiling and give you a small town-home feeling. Definitely take pride in their uniforms, food, and keeping their dining area very clean. From just a cup of coffee or just bringing your whole team in, they will have everything hot, fresh, and prepared just the way you like it. They will take care of you as well as their employees. Great work Whataburger!
Menu is extensive and unlike McDonald's you can have anything that is on it, regardless of what time it is. Plus they are opened 24 hours. You do need to be patient as they are not exactly fast food. However it's worth the wait. Bottom line is that Whataburger is perfect for both dinner and a midnight meal.
The staff by far made the best eating experience I have ever had in any fast food joint I have ever been to. First whataburger back into Texas and we struck gold. This staff is made of great people who love their job. Here 6-6-2018 6:38pm good job guys!
Whataburger it kind of gone down a little recently, but it seems to have corrected itself. Foods was good, although not hot.
The food was great. The customer service was awesome. My only complaint is it's usually a wait longer than most. I usually have to park and wait. Usually don't get it at the drive thru window.
Hit these guys up after a long morning of hunting. Always hits the spot getting a double meat whataburger with fries. Food was cooked right and drive thru moved pretty quick. One of very few fast food places in the area and was perfect.
Two new menu items I love are the Chilli cheese burger and the new breakfast bowls. If you haven't tried these items you should soon! Also Burkburnett TX is our favorite whataburger by far! The order is always correct. The service is fast and employees are very friendly!
We had a great experience at our What a Buyer. The food was fresh and hot. The customer service was incredible. Andrew was very kind and funny you could tell he cared for his customers. Everyone else was also kind and courteous. Thank you Cylinda Liptow
This was my girlfriends first experience at Whataburger and she was very impressed. Kevin was the best fast food employee I have ever seen. Went above and beyond to make our visit great and we will definitely be stopping again on our way back through.
We visited in the wee hours of the morning around 1 am. The drive thru and pick up was wrapped around the building. We went inside and ordered from the kiosk. They were out of medium cups. Staff was friendly but seemed to be working short. Got a ear full about one of the managers quitting because of unfair treatment the next morning. I understand communicating with your coworkers but when customers can hear your profanity it's a little much. We waited longer inside than we would have going through the drive thru. Food wasn't hot fries were cold. It sucks to be in high demand with not enough staff. Kinda felt bad for the people working. They did the best they could with what they had.
Going to Whataburger is always a good experience. The food may vary from time to time, but never far from excellent! The late night crew seems to always be on top of their game! You might have to wait a few minutes while they prepare your meal, but it's all worth it. Remember, nothing worth having comes without it's challenges. Patience is a seemingly lost virtue in our society, but exercise it! It'll make your dining experience, and those around you more enjoyable. The employees are only human and are doing their best to get your order right. Anyway, Thank You, Whataburger Crew! I'm a customer for life.
Extremely good tonight. Nate was pleasant and the food was delicious. Also a rave to the manager that was helping out when it got busy and was explaining how she wanted things done. Seemed like they had a great crew working tonight. Way to go Whataburger!!
It was really good from the service to the employees to the food. The fries have a good amount and good taste we were even offered a free shake because they made an extra. I would rate it 5.5 stars but there isn't a 5.5 so 5 will work
Amazing group of people working the night shift. The manager on duty Randlett was pushing her staff not to work harder but to take pride in they’re work. She definitely was the type that lead from her feet not from her seat. Our food was great service was excellent. The whole team deserves a raise. This is my second positive review i have ever done.

Traveling from Midland TX to Guthrie Oklahoma. Stopped for gas and a quick meal. It was the best burger I have eaten in a long time! Restroom was clean, and the staff did a great job! Thank You!
Well, this is my Whataburger when I'm near Wichita Falls, Texas. The burger was perfect, the fries were hot and flowers on the table! After devouring that delicious burger I had to ask the manager a question... is this a franchise or corporate? I already knew her answer... "Yes, we are a Corporate location." I said "I knew it! Everything was perfect as expected from a Corporate location." If you're on I-44 near Burkburnett, Texas and you're feeling a little hungry, by all means stop in and grab a bite to eat... You won't be disappointed!

I travel frequently for work and while I can say with certainty the Whataburger brand has declined since their Chicago based acquisition THIS location still holds true to their Texas roots. Staff is friendly and the food is always consistent, I can’t say the same for my local locations but the management here and team do a great job here.
The staff was so friendly. It always nice to go somewhere where there is excellent customer service. It's hard to find sometimes... 10/10 recommend going! Will definitely go back in the future!
I have been away from Texas for 2 months OTR, and have finally been able to get Whataburger. This was the best meal I've eaten in a while, I honestly didn't know how much I missed it. Onion rings were sweetly breaded, strawberry shake was on point and my burger was made the way I like it! Much thanks to the staff, they were very friendly and quick.
They make a decent burger. The onion rings are really good. For a restaurant in a small town, I think it is very good. The next time I visit, I will come back to whataburger.

Whataburger has been around since I was a kid , long time ! This particular restaurant location is one of the best run , they are efficient, courteous and fresh . My meal was perfect .. it has always been my burger go to restaurant for great Hamburgers, Fries and Shakes .
there is a group of younger guys who work late at night sometimes who are great ...foods great but sometimes they need to switch out the oil cause the onion rings have tasted a little off twice and upon calling manager said it was because of the oil but they gave me free onion rings the next day...
Food and service is usually great, however that said it seems that the serving time is getting slower. I don't know if maybe they ha e some new rules or what but things do seem slow. But either way I've always lo Ed our hometown whataburger.

It is what you would expect a Whataburger to be like. The food is good for the price you pay. The people were decent. I didn't have to wait to long in line. The food was ready pretty quickly. I had the #1 combo meal that they offer sometimes and it was really good. The place was pretty clean. I think I remember the bathrooms were clean as well.
They have improved greatly from when I originally did the review. Forget curbside pickup. When you call, no one answers. You have to go through the drive thru and then wait for your order. Defeats the purpose of curbside.
It's not bad but it's not like the old school Whaterburgers. Ketchup and fries are still great! Hamburger was kind of meh. My son had the Swiss mushroom burger and really enjoyed it. My husband liked his spicy chicken (but they didn't grow up with the original WB). Husband said the onion rings were good
We stop every time we go to the casino and the food is always fresh hot and almost never wrong. They are getting better but the wait on the food is a little slow for the amount of people that are usually working. Always friendly and helpful.
Love their food. The service is great. Just have to pull around to the other side after purchasing your food and receiving your drinks. They are that busy most of the time. They get my orders right most of the time. I would recommend this place. Great food!
It was about 1130pm. They were the only place open in a very small town. It was Saturday night and the drive thru was packed. We were told to pull aside and they would bring us our order. About 20 to 25 minutes we had to go inside to see if they forgot us. The order was ready waiting. The burger and fries were actually pretty tasty. Probably the best I've had at a Whataburger. The wait was long but I don't think they can help it under the circumstances.
Service is definitely better during morning/ lunch. App orders take WAY TOO LONG at all Whataburger locations. They all seem to hold orders for fresh fries, which is understandable.... given the fries aren't that great if not fresh and HOT. I've learned to not trust the app and just wait an extra 5-10 min before ever going. The people at this location are pretty awesome and human error is a thing so I will continously visit this location.
It's always good for a quick bite after a ball game. The service is typical for fast food. the cashier was disinterested and seemed bothered to have to take our order. Drink Station was messy, and we wiped out the own table off. It's Whataburger, it is one of the better fast food burgers.

Definitely not the fastest place to go to, usually takes anywhere from 15 minutes - 1 hour to get through the line. But after all the waiting you’ll get to enjoy some really good food! I’ve noticed less busy times being 11pm-11:40, 1am-2:30am and 3:30am- 4:30am in the drive-thru line.
2 years from my original post and the same thing. People are awesome but more than 15 minutes for one burger. It took forever with only 3 cars in front of me. At least 15min.
Great service last night from new employee and obvious manager. Then return this morning through drive thru and that's where you lost 2 stars Cashier Brieanna B. Was very rude very tacky very robotic acting. No smile acted as though she hated her job.. bad day? Maybe, but not the customer's fault. We had window shut on us after every item. Haven't ordered from Whataburger in a while so we did tonight. They have this bacon avocado burger that's for a limited time so I wanted to try it because I LOVE avocado. So I ordered on the app, went and got the food and, with the exception of the moron in the black car brake checking me once while leaving the parking lot, twice on the road that states 35 mph as the posted speed limit and I, naively thought the moron would speed up to the speed limit so I sped up and the moron brake checked me again, Grrrr....zoomed around moron to drive the posted, 35 mph. Anywho, get home so excited for this avocado burger on which I had ordered EXTRA avocado on the burger and imagine my surprise when I see the pic of the burger I got. Can you find the avocado? Or the EXTRA avocado?? Yeah, me either. So disappointing. Whataburger food quality has gone WAY down hill and prices way uphill. Yes, I know, next time, I'll make my own bacon avocado burger at home, and it will have LOTS of avocado on it. Do better Whataburger, this is pathetic.

I went on Thanksgiving day. I get it nobody wants to work on holidays, however your getting paid and we have to do things we don't want to some times. But the lady who took my order in drive thru was rude! The food was good tho! 🥴
I ordered a number two meal with mustard and pickles only, large fries, large Coke. My burger had onions on it. Luckily I'm not allergic to onions but I don't like onions and I won't be going back to this Whataburger. They wait for the food was longer than normal.
I ordered a Mushroom Swiss. Meat wasn't cooked all the way through. My husband informed management, they said they'd get another out. Waited and we had to check on it. It wasn't being made. I asked for a refund because we had to leave. They immediately gave it. My husband and sons food were ok and cooked all the way through.
Went in on a Sunday afternoon after 2:00 thinking I could get in and out pretty quick, the place wasn't very busy. Ordered 3 burgers and 2 fries, nothing elaborate, but it took over 20 minutes to get my "to go" order. While I sat there, I watched two other sets of people that were there before me getting frustrated waiting for their orders. I finally got my order and they brought it to me for dine in even though I verified twice when ordering it was to go. Finally got my food in bags and left, only to discover when I got home they forgot the bacon on a triple burger, which cost me $1.50. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the food was okay and they were nice, just extremely slow and let off part of the order.

First of all it took 25 minutes to get our food. Thank goodness we checked it before leaving because they gave us the wrong burgers. Then it took an additional 15 minutes to get the correct order. The inside of the restaurant was nasty. Most tables were dirty.
Stopped in here after a medical appointment in Wichita Falls. Had to run errands in Lawton, OK after so we thought we would stop and get a sandwich with fries. My wife said that it would be quicker than Braum's down the street. Yeah, about that. Our order shouldn't have been difficult, 2 sandwiches and a large fries. Notice I said shouldn't. 15 minutes later we finally had our order. I had gone out to the car to sit it was taking so long. Wife brought the bag out and we headed for Lawton. Once we got on 44, she opened the bag to pull the food out. How in the heck, with an order that simple, can you screw it up. Not one fry to be found anywhere! $3.39 plus tax and we didn't get them. Called down there and talked to a manager since we don't go down to Wichita Falls often. No, they couldn't send a coupon that we could use in Lawton. We could drive back down there and get our money back or get the order of fries. To drive there and back would cost me a whole lot more in gasoline than the fries. As someone growing up in the Midwest, I already don't understand the love affair with Whataburger, other than they are from Texas. Frankly, I think I'm just done with them and their poor service.
Usually, Whataburger is not a issue, but today was REALLY BAD, so it was around 5 pm and we order 2 small meals and a another thing of fries, the issues are that we had to wait 15 minutes and they didn't put our fries in. Nice service though.
We got there almost midnight on Wednesday. We placed an order by app. My wife ordered gravy to go with her french fries but did not get it But we're charged for it. She ordered a number 7 cheeseburger. It did not have any meat on it. That's a small cheeseburger so you think they would notice that the meat was missing. I asked for 3 ketchups & 1 spicy ketchup. I didn't get the spicy ketchup and they only gave us two. At that time of day it should be easy to get the order right. I normally don't eat at fast food places for health reasons and because we seldom ever get what we ordered. It was late we were tired from doing volunteer work, There is really nothing else open in our small town, so I took a chance, , , and lost again.
We got two Avacado Bacon Burgers. Cold. Got fries. They had enough salt on them to kill a horse. Inedible. Not returning any time soon.

Waited 12 minutes for a cold burger with a bun soaked in mustard. I wiped as much of the mustard off of the burger I could but I ended up throwing it out. I wanted a refund but I was nearly 45 miles away once I got to my destination and was looking to reheat or make it better. Disgusting and disappointing.
The food was not made correct, the guy passing out the condiments was rude and took a very long time to get the food. Fries were cold . Very unpleasant experience. Whataburger is generally very good and my go to place when eating fast food, but I will not go back to the one in Burkburnett
Long wait times and being asked to pull forward and waiting an additional 45 mins just to have someone come out and ask what my order was, then wait some more while I watch the line wrap around the building until the drivethru is blocked because they keep asking more people to pull around more than they can get orders out the door. Its pathetic and totally disorganized.
I'd rather eat reheated burger king. The bacon wasn't cooked and the bread was dry. Couldn't even take more than 2 bites. +1 star for the fries being basic fast food fries.
I did like this place til last night. My food was cold. I thought Whataburger had hot fresh food, that is the reason I went. It was horrible. I didn't even eat the food it was so bad. The order was all wrong. I will not spend my money on that place again. It should have zero stars
My whole reason for starting off with one star is the service. There was no one in line and we were not approached by a team member for 10 minutes. The "boss lady" on duty was shouting behind the counter at an employee stating, "because your other boss lady can't see straight." The most recent batch of fries were sitting in the basket getting cold. So we had to request fresh fries. The food was your average Whataburger food. If I were to give an additional star, it would be for Brie. She was the only employee in the place who smiled and was friendly.
1245am, stopped and ordered 2 breakfast Taquito meals. One Taquito was wrong after repeating it back. The guy hurried up and handed food, but was only taquitos, had to ask for potato stix that came with the meals, had to ask for straws, had to ask for sauces all while each time he was hurrying up and shutting the window eat time. Potato stix were way over cooked could barely bite into. Instead of rushing to hand just the taquitos, should take the time and make sure everything’s right!!
Never going back again that was ridiculous 20 minutes and drive-thru then they pulled us and another 20 minutes before my husband went in the restaurant and picked the food up himself worst service ever
The lady over the intercom couldn't hear what i was ordering and missed several things when it was time to pay. The lady at the window was very rude and rushy and when i tried to tell her that we were missing something she stick her head out the window and started saying huh very rudely. Got home it ended up being the completely wrong order and wasn't very good. Night shift need to get better.
Ordered chili cheese fries by the time the fries came they were cold at touch, night shift employee failed to change gloves after using a cleaner and proceeded to handle food with the same gloves. Night shift manager needs to make sure proper food safety is met. Also seen the manager mix old fries with new fries, I know food cost is high but it's not that high.
Evertime I order from the app and I would be waiting from sitting in the curbside pickup for a long time, or I would have to go in, and it has been sitting there for a while without being looked at. I thought the curbside pickup was more important than the drive thru after you ordered from the app ? If I'm wrong, then what is the point of a curbside pickup if it's not important ? You move faster in the drive thru, but you don't move fast for the curbside pickup ?? If you can, please think about the people who order from your waterburger app?
I’m no KAREN , I’ve never left a review. I love whataburger, but this filthy joint is a cesspool of nasty. Your order will be wrong. You will w8 a half hour or more. Some of the staff has MethMouth.
Gave me a burger that was still raw in the center. Today November 3rd at 12:05pm. Need to teach your cooks that its okay for the burger to be a little crispy on the top and bottom. But its not ok to feed a burger that is soggy and barely cooked.
I ordered three burgers with no tomato, cheese and mayo instead of mustard and all three of them were wrong. 1 had tomato and mustard, 1 had no mayo and no cheese, literally a patty and bun, and the last one had mayo and tomato and no cheese. No pickles on any of them. Took almost 30 minutes to get a completely messed up order. Also forgot my fries and had to wait longer for that.
Worst Whataburger experience ever. Order was not taken correctly, had to ask the woman to repeat the order back to us so we could make corrections. Pulled up to the window, the 4 shakes came out right away then we waited an actual 17 minutes for 1 cheeseburger and an order of fries. At 11 minutes I went inside to make sure we were still expecting a burger, the manager made an excuse that there were onle 3 people on shift and she had to go find someone to cover night shift. Fine but at least let me know, "sorry for the wait, we are still working on your food" Dont wait until I come inside then make excuses. We asked for no mustard but asked for cheese and wanted ketsup. There was no cheese, no ketsup no offer for ketsup nothing. The burger was luke warm.
Stood for a while and none of the people at the counter even acknowledged us so I used the kiosk.. Ordered a side of gravy and didn’t get it. My chicken biscuit had one single chicken piece and it was so dry and old I couldn’t even bite through it.. But they put so much honey butter to make up for it I guess.. just wanted whataburger while I was in Texas but left disappointed with a new broken tooth.. :(
I don't live near a Whataburger. i have always enjoyed them when I travel and on my way out of town, I stopped by this one, and what should have been a quick drive thru in and out turned into a 20-minute dumb and dumber wait. I ordered a number 1 , no onion with cheese amd bbq sauce, onion rings, and a large dr. Pepper. Everything was going great till I got to the window. The employee repeated back my order, a number one no pickles and onion... from there, it all went downhill. To start, she handed me a large diet coke..then when they charged me for someone elses order, and I guess I should be happy I paid a dollar less, then I was asked to pull around to the double doors on the side. While out there, I was presented with an assortment of orders, all of which were not mine. Who knew a cheese burger with bbq sauce, No onions could take so long? FinallyI got my order mildly warm, not hot, and off I went. Will I be back? No.
waited 30 minutes and still didn’t get my drinks lmfao only person in line at the time too.
We went through the drive-thru and ordered a salad and a whataburger with cheese meal. We were asked to pull around and they would bring it out to us. After waiting 20 minutes I went in to find out what the hold up was. While I waited for someone that looked competent they served the two cars behind us. I finally got what looked like a Manager for her to only tell me they were working on my order....so I waited 10 more minutes while the "manager" kept disappearing into an office. It was very clear that nobody was in charge and employee's were moving around accomplishing nothing with zero guidance....horrible leadership....horrible service!!!!
Employees bringing kids to work is absolutely ridiculous. Then to allow that kid to scream and do what ever isn't ok. You're a business not a day. Could not enjoy a meal bc he just wanted to scream and mom just laughed. This is a update. Came and waited 16 minutes in line at 11:47 being the 2nd person in line. They sit inside goofing off and refuse to do their job!
If you order from this Whataburger, you will wait anywhere from 15 to 50 minutes for your order. Count on a 20 minute wait. The food is increasingly mediocre. But the time of ordering to getting your food, this was my last straw.
We just ate here this evening around 8:15PM An employee with a name tag Kevin was on break and eating. We watched him Lick all of his fingers and went back to work. We watched him go back not wash his hands and put on gloves and started sacking up people food. So nasty!!
Absolutely horrible. After sitting in the drive thru for over 20 minutes we finally got our food, my burger appeared to have 9 or 10 servings of ketchup and mustard all over the burger and outside of the bun. Took it inside to ask for another, the manager didnt appear to be too concerned and just called to the kitchen for amother to be made. I had to ask for her to please make sure it was light mustard and ketchup this time to which she appeared to be annoyed. After standing there for a minute or two with no progress being made I asked if it was going to be another 15 or 20 minutes for my food to which I was told "its going to be awhile". At that point I just left the burger on the counter and walked out before anger took over. I travel for work and eat at Whatburger all over the country, usually takes awhile because we work at night but the food and customer service are always on point. Not sure whats wrong with thus location.... .
I will never come here again. The staff here is horrible. As an adult, seeing other adults not take the proper precautions to prepare food made for hundreds of people is absolutely disgusting. Mold in my drink, and my daughters tea had some kind of slime in it. Not seeing any employee wash their hands at all is repulsive to say the least. My food was cold, and soggy. I will be letting the health department know about the mold issue, as far as the staffing issue goes. I suggest, as a place of business, you hire people who are kind and actually want to work there. Because my experience was ridiculous.
