I love this place! The food is so delicious and they DO NOT use MSG. My favorite is the kimchee tofu jiggae and the kalbi beef ribs. I come here weekly to get my fill of Korean food and it tastes just like my mom's cooking. Definitely a must try!

Went here often before covid. They are generous with their free kimchi bar. Their bugolgi/galbi beef short-ribs are excellent as is the clay pot beef spicy tofu soup with raw egg! !Hostess/waitress was extremely nice. Not the cheapest but that’s what u get for great environment and great food/service! ! It’s worth every penny and I can’t wait to go back to eat their delicious beef tofu soup/kalbi Korean short- ribs again soon! 😋. So delicious!

I've been to Moms Tofu house in South San Francisco plenty of times before today and sadly realized that they have permanently closed down. The food there was always delicious and this other location doesn't disappoint. We ordered the Kal bi and Sauce covered chicken wings which were both super delicious. The bon chon was great only missing the pickled cucumbers other places carry. The service however was top notch, I dont know our waiters name be he was great, worthy of the large tip we left.

Love Mom's Tofu House! The food is amazing! The staff is very sweet and accommodating. I'm happy to see that they're still open during the pandemic and definitely happy to support.

So I wouldnt say it's the best korean food I've eaten, but that doesn't mean this place isn't great. Staff is really nice, food is great, and there usually isnt a long line. Worth checking out if you're in the area. [Edit: def my go to Korean spot. You really will not find better in the area]

Food came out quickly, was super fresh and hot. The kimchi rice was nice and spicy and the hot stone rice bowl with chicken was super flavorful!

The beef tofu soup that I had was amazing. Many other dishes are also good as well, and I definitely recommend this Korean restaurant for someone looking for good food to eat.

Super delicious. Very satisfying and generous portions. Got the tofu vegetable stew, spicy rice cakes and seafood pancake. Great portion and variety of banchan. The stew was very flavorful- perfect for cold weather. Appreciate the variety of options!

Solid Korean food in Millbrae! Very pleased to see a Korean spot in the mid-peninsula area! Food is reasonably priced, staff is very helpful and attentive and the restaurant is a good size to accommodate medium size groups. Was very pleased with the quality and variety and would definitely come back here again!

Yummy! Got a to-go order and it was so fast! The grilled mackerel portion for dinner was huge! 3 big pieces for 20 bucks. Awesome. And the medium tofu soup - i could actually still eat it haha. Definitely nice and spicy but didnt burn my mouth so i couldnt taste anything else. Friendly staff! Will always go back if im in the area

This small Korean restaurant has been one of my go-to spots since 2022, and I can confidently say the owners and staff are consistently kind, courteous, and committed to providing great service. It’s a nice place with a welcoming atmosphere, and while it can get quite busy during peak lunch and dinner hours, arriving around 2pm usually means a quieter experience. At times, the staff may appear a bit understaffed, but it’s clear they’re doing their absolute best to serve every customer with care and attention. I truly appreciate their effort and hospitality. The food here is always satisfying. My personal favorite is their special combo of Gal Bi and Dumpling Tofu Soup. The Gal Bi is incredibly tender and flavorful, and the soup is comforting and well-balanced. Plus, the unlimited sides are a great touch—just let the staff know, and they’ll happily bring more. Whether you're stopping by for lunch or dinner, this place delivers a consistently enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic Korean cuisine and genuine service.

Came in for a meal at 8:10 pm. Staff made us feel welcome even though we got there close pretty late for dinner. Tried their wings for appetizer. Chicken was cooked perfectly and extremely juicy. We tried the Bulgogi beef and seafood rice pots. Both tasted excellent.

Small Korean food restaurant. Play comfortable seating but tables are closed when the room is full. The food is delicious. I can't get enough of the ramen broth. Try one of their crispy fried pancakes, you'll be pleased.

Dombe noodles were delicious, the broth was rich but not super oily, pork was very tender. Tables, seats and floors were clean. Service was quick and friendly. They also have kpop videos playing on the tv in the back too which is fun

Love love mom’s tofu! We came here on a Wednesday night for dinner and it was not too packed. We ordered the usual: - Regular Fried Chicken - Spicy Fried Chicken - Army Stew - Seafood Pancake - Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap Everything was amaziiiiiing! Seafood pancake and the spicy fried chicken are my husband and I’s favorites. We always order it when we eat at Mom’s Tofu in SSF. We’re happy that the food and quality are similar.

Love their sirloin bimbimbop! It has crispy rice from the bottom. My favorite. Vegetable pancakes are thick and crispy. Would definitely come back to try other things.

They have great food that’s super tasty, in particular the kimchi and green onion pancake is delicious and very filling. Also, I really liked the mushroom and tofu soup. We also had a young child with us, so they gave us free korean seaweed to feed him. Very nice customer service!

Kalbi is always a favorite here. The tenderness of the meat is amazing! Update: tried the cold noodles. Loved that they include a piece of Kalbi!

The soup was pretty spicy for being medium and the meat was sweet and spicy. They were a little understaffed but the service was decent

This place is amazing! You must try it immediately! There was no wait, plenty of tables, plenty of parking, and more than enough food for what you pay. Great for a lunch outing.

Happily surprised to find this quite good Korean restaurant. Nothing fancy but down to earth, good tasting food and courteous service. The side dishes were also good and served amply even upon request on refills. Passengers arriving late into SFO should consider this restaurant. Had the combo plate of spicy pork and Tofu soup. Very good and good value...

This restaurant serves korean cuisine that taste great and at an affordable price. It was our first time here and i would say we made the right choice! We chose the seafood pancake, the combo soondobu (tofu soup), japchae, and another soondobu non spicy. The quality and taste of each dish we ordered were excellent; not too salty, not too dense, and lots of ingredients and most importantly nothing was watered down or diluted. The staff there were very fast at seating, taking our orders, well basically the whole dinner service. Spot on. The utencils were clean and neatly set on the table as well. I would definately return to this restaurant with more people! Go Now!

Food is delicious and obviously made to order. People say it takes a while to get your food, but it depends what you order and how busy it is, just like any restaurant. I've been here a number of times - I usually get tofu soup or hot pot bibimbap. Om nom nom!

Its nice to see a korean restaurant so far up here since korean restaurants are rare. The service is decent, but the food is average and kinda expensive for what it his. I got the bibimbap for around 13$. It was just okay but ive had better. The spicy tofu soup is good though.

A

This place had delicious food, but a small serving size. Despite this, you get unlimited banchan, so I'm not really complaining. The service was actually amazing and very quick, although the reason might be because there were very few people in the restaurant (which I prefer). The atmosphere was okay. There's a TV and a couple posters advertising the food they had.

Newer Korean restaurant with same name and owner as one in downtown South San Francisco. It's new, clean with modern decor and furniture. There is a self-service, all-you-can-eat ban chan (Korean veggies side dish) station. Lunch specials are the best value. Service is quick and pleasant.

Cozy place for Korean food... Combination meals give a variety of choices. Not too crowded, but a little bit of a wait time getting your food. Food is tasty.

The way the combo of their banchan (side dishes) and bijijjigae (underrated dish) will cleanse you..! Highly recommend.

Korean place with good vegan options. Items are labelled vegetarian on the menu, some items need to be modified to be made vegan. Clarify that the banchans are vegan (they have fish cake sometimes). Like greens, bean sprouts, and fried tofu banchan they have. Bathroom was nice and clean. Love the mushroom tofu soup, really flavorful and they are generous with the mushrooms. Also got the hot stone tofu bibimbap, make sure to ask for no egg to make it vegan. Good option to go to if going with a group of omnis, can also accomodate larger groups as well but would consider making a reservation if the party is 6+.

My second time going and both times they got my order wrong. All i asked is they they not put seaweed on my order but they put it on anyway. This time I went there was a homeless person trying to eat in and they were very rude to her. I know some people might not like eating in a restaurant with a homeless person but please remember they are people too and don't deserve poor treatment.

The hot stone is very satisfying and the portion is generous. The cost difference for lunch versus dinner is striking!

Decent Korean food with reasonably priced dishes. It's not very fancy but an adequate place to get your spicy tofu soup fix. Good service. Their bugolgi is good.

This is a restaurant that I pass by all the time so figured I should give it a try to see how Korean restaurants compare to South Bay. I'm honestly underwhelmed. The banchan is so so and kimchi is over fermented (meaning not as fresh). I originally was going to try the tofu soup but saw the big picture of budae jiggae posted all over the restaurant so figured why not give it a try. Budae Jiggae for those who doesn't know is based upon the story that after the Korean war, many Korean don't have enough food so they took leftovers from US military and cooked sausages, spam, and cheese along with traditional kimchi soup. Honestly, the pictures are misleading as the portions of the ingredients are much smaller. It's not bad but just not delicious for me to order it again. Maybe I'm spoiled by Korean food in South Bay or LA but it's just too bland.

The food was decent. It was busy during dinner time. We waited quite a while for our food. Service is slow, but good. They are under staff.

$40 for nearly flavorless meat - you can get twice the quality for half the price at any other Korean place.

Ordered the seafood ramen, I literally got one baby shrimp and like seven tiny tiny clams and two little hard balls of squid. Total cost twenty $25! Will not return back there for ramen. Noodles and Things in San Mateo really good!

Not sure about dining in. But definitely not take out. 18 usd for seafood tofu, just one shrimp. Not worth it at all!

Visited with a friend during our vacation to San Fran and had a horrible experience trying to place a to-go order. Everyone that came in to the restaurant for to-go orders was ignored. We waited 20 minutes before being acknowledged finally and waited nearly 30-40 more minutes for our food. The woman working the register this night was very rude to customers, cutting them off before they can ask their questions with curt, short, and rude answers. When I asked about the ETA for my food her reply was, "I don't know" and then she walked off. When I finally received my food, I checked it before leaving and it was made completely wrong and without sauce. By that time I was so exhausted with the ordeal that I didn't even try to go through the process of getting a refund. Then of course I received an attitude when I asked for the sauce in a cup that was supposed to come on my meal anyway. I even watched thenm give the wrong order to the wrong customer that night. It's clear they were understaffed or something but the employees/owners should not speak rudely to the people that come in to give them money.

I ordered the fry chicken got wings , took a bite , it had a funny smell with dark ends. small side of rice for $3 ! I would not recommend to eat there. Terrible service lack of attention. Do not order the chicken in this place. it smells . I hope I do not get sick.

They got really mad at us for ordering side dishes more than four times. and took a photo of my Aunt on display on there counter. We always tip very well since we have a party of 5 or more. We will and have not returned since! we cannot believe they would be so rude. There is no clear sign that states the limit. We use to be regulars. They did not pull us aside and made a huge scene! NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL

K

The worker was really mean!! Terrible service! Me and my friends were super nice to them but they were judging us for the amount of food we got. Ruined our mood, don’t support!

Maybe I'm spoiled being from LA, the MECCA for Korean food but this place was SO unimpressive and sadly tasteless. Get-your-own banchan bar is really not my style either. Soondubu (tofu soup) was bland and relatively tasteless. Didn't help that our waitress decided to pop out to the grocery store next door to grab snacks while we were waiting to get charged and checked out. I won't be back.

M
Maggie Wan

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place! The services is bad👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 They’re not allowed you to share food...like today I went there with 2 girl friends, and we just want a light lunch, we ordered 2 dishes to share, and we have been told if we only order 2 dishes to share , we have to pay $5 extra!! End up we HAVE to order 1 more dish which is we don’t need.

A
Anwar Salar

Costumer service at this place is the worst. The Korean lady who looked seemingly in her 40s treated me like she was giving free food. I love Korean food but will never come to this place again. And people who want to look in to this place, there are better ones with way better quality and service. She could have had a good tip but instead she got a BIG donut..
