Had a great time, was super comfortable and inviting. Went on a week night around 5pm and things were quiet and not busy at all. Our server Michael was amazing and service was quick even though we sat on the second floor and were one of the only ones up there. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Beautiful view of the Golf of Mexico. Two daughters had a seafood boil each. Grandson had the kids pizza. My granddaughter had the popcorn shrimp 🦐.I had the crab 🦀 and shrimp 🦐 rolls. The food was delicious 😋. The price was a bit spendy but we were treating our selfs. Any food over $20 is a bit spendy. The service was good. The food didn't come out at the same time but it wasn't bad. Overall the experience was good. Worth giving it a try.

My family and I sat outside on the balcony . It was very clean and the bussers didn't take more than 3 minutes after a party left to clean the table. The balcony oversees the ocean it's an amazing backdrop for pictures. The dinning experience was enjoyable because the waiter walked us through what he was doing and had us join a trivia game with other parties well done.

Really good dinner. Gumbo reduced bit too much, to strong in flavor. But was good. Ceviche was good. Kids enjoyed the chicken sandwich and fried fish. Ant, our server, was spot on great service!

Look. It's Bubba Gump. It's not going to be anything incredible. But we got in town late and it was the closest walk from our hotel, so we went with it. On a Monday evening in October we quickly and easily got porch seating, and got to eat with this excellent view. Nothing short of getting served wet sand could have made us regret our restaurant choice.

Ordered Run Across America Sampler, Jenny's Salmon and shrimp, and Paradise Tea Tiki. Dined here for lunch. Walking from parking lot and then up an incline in heels to get to restaurant was daunting. Server was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and kind. Food was good though they brought me rice and forgot I substituted it for potatoes. Some dinner companions stated shrimp was tough. Drink was delicious and you're given a take fine home cup from the gift shop.

This location is on the Pleasure Pier in Galveston. It has great service and atmosphere. Food was ok. This is wheelchair accessible and I did not use braille or ask for large print menu. White cane navigation would be fine.

Good food and service. My strawberry 🍓 lemonade 🍋 was very watered down. They replaced it and it was great! The bread appetizer was very buttery. The queso had a lot of cilantro, onions, and tomatoes in it. We had a party of 5. The appetizers and drinks came out fast. The food, as far as the main course of the meal. Expect to pay about $26 per person for your meal. Burgers, salad, and chicken are less, and steaks are more. Everyone enjoyed their food except for the chicken strips were quite salty. It took a while to get silverware.

Food is mediocre at best. it's a tourist chain restaurant. You can't expect too much. They forgot one of our appetizers and the food took approximately 35 minutes to arrive at the table, which is not acceptable. The waiters are very friendly and on the ball no complaints about the wait staff. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here just as a option if you're on the beach nearby.

Earlier this summer I went to Bubba Gump for the first time, in San Francisco, and a few days after that I went to the one on the Santa Monica Pier. Both were great, so I was excited to go to the one in Galveston, since I live in Houston. We went during an off-peak time (lunchtime on a Friday), and literally had zero service for about 10-15 minutes. I was quite surprised because the service at the other two locations was top-tier in friendliness, and also were both not at peak times. Eventually someone who I think might have been the manager asked if we had been helped, we said no, and she was surprised that our drink order hasn’t even been taken. She took our order and maybe 10 minutes later the girl who was supposed to be waiting our table finally introduced herself and asked what we wanted to order. We explained that another lady had gotten our order. I honestly felt kind of bad because I hyped this place up to my spouse and then the service was nonexistent. My spouse wrote it off as “it’s not busy,” but I think that’s a better reason for the service to be better, because there were only 3-4 tables with people during this time. If that was my first experience at a Bubba Gump I wouldn’t come back, and I’m not sure if I will try this location again.

Expectation vs reality. Taste was good but the portion was ridiculously small for the price. This place is more for the experience but I wouldn’t come here if you’re hungry. Not coming back!

I visited the restaurant on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving during their happy hour from 3 to 6. The experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. We stood at the host stand for almost ten minutes with no greeting at all. Several servers walked by without acknowledging us. When I finally asked one of them for help, I was told the host was “somewhere” and would come over, but it still took about ten minutes before we were seated. I asked about happy hour and learned it is only available at the bar. The bar area is very small compared to the size of the restaurant, and they only have a few booths. One of those booths was being used to store employee items, which meant customers couldn’t sit there. When I asked if we could use it, the manager came over and made it very clear it wasn’t an option, and her attitude toward us wasn’t welcoming. I then asked if we could sit just outside the bar area for happy hour, and she responded with a firm “definitely not.” While I understand if that is their policy, it felt surprising and not very kid friendly, especially considering the restaurant is right next to the Pleasure Pier, a major family spot. We ended up having to wait for another booth to open up. The only positive part of the visit was the bartender, who was friendly and provided great service. Other than that, the overall experience was poor. When we left, no one said goodbye or thanked us, which added to the awkward feeling. Based on this visit, I was surprised to see the restaurant holding a four star rating on Google.

I planned my family's 4th of July celebration here. Let's just say that it did not go as planned. I had requested a window table for my reservation,so that we could view the fireworks. Needless to say we did not see the fireworks. The soup came out ice cold and I had to try and eat it with a fork. I ordered the stuffed shrimp. They had obviously been frozen. They were still very cold in the middle . Although Ashley Clark,the manager took off the shrimp dinner and a burger . The overall experience was not good. I did however call her a few days later to let her know of our family's let down for the 4th of July . She offered me a free appetizer. Overall there are many better places to enjoy a nice meal with your family and friends in Galveston. This seems to cater more to tourists than locals. And everyone knows, the locals know where to eat!
