Fogo de Chão - Long Island

So this is my fourth time at Fogo de Chão in carl Place been to the one in Vegas, which was not as good as the one in Carle Place. We came here with an few other friends and we had the most amazing time! The never-ending food and salad bar which was a meal in itself was great. I could not expect or need anything more. We had the fried cheese with the honey, the cheese popovers which is a must, lamb chops, filet mignon, prime rib, chicken wrapped in bacon and too many other options to mention! We had an exceptional bottle of Pinot noir. It I must say the carmelized pineapple old fashion was my go to tonight! The service from walking in to walking out was courteous, attentive but not annoyingly hovering. Excellent! All in all, it was definitely a memorable evening. Great food, great wine, and great friends for a great night. You gotta come down here. Check it out. Seeing is believing!

To share my positive experience from my visit on Monday night. The restaurant was not busy, and we opted for the buffet with an additional special menu course. The food was great and fresh, particularly the salad bar. The staff were super friendly and offered excellent wine recommendations. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with a birthday celebration happening nearby. We will come back, highly recommended!

Carlos the bartender that goes around with the drinks making drinks all around the place is really great. The drink was amazing and he made my family feel great with the ambience. Our waiter the Jessy was amazing. I would really recommend him for every time I come back.

Services was phenomenal as usual from the food to the attention to us. And especially when Carlos came by and sold me on his mango drink I was sold on this place! Definitely recommend would come again!

Jenny Melo was on top of making sure our service was attended. Drinks were excellent. Staff just need a little bit of training to ask how guests want they take their meat and also making sure clean plates were readily available for guests.

The food was good. The atmosphere was nice. The drawback was the service...we had a large party and reservations were made well in advance as it was a graduation celebration. For the price per person and having reservations, there were too many gaps in attention to beverages and meats coming to the table.

We were serviced amazingly by Carlos with our caipirinha strawberry hibiscus and passion fruit was too tier, waitress and serving staff was so attentive to our requirements definitely recommend

I went here for their Veterans Day discount which was 50% off the full churrasco experience. I’ve been to other locations of Fogo de Chão and they were all fine but this one stuck out to me because of the frequency they came around with steaks and the selection. I wasn’t stuck around waiting forever for the premium steak cuts to come around or having chicken thighs come around multiple times before seeing the next steak. Also around the end of my dinner I guess they could tell I was getting full they started coming around with little morsels of like cheese with honey and spicy candied bacon. I also got the lava cake dessert and the chocolate inside was actually very melty and gooey like my mind imagines it which is a letdown more often than not when it actually comes to the table but this one hit the mark. I recommend this location specifically if you want THE full churrasco experience

We had Chelsea has our waitresses. She was wonderful. Provided excellent service and very friendly. The food was delicious.

We had an amazing experience at Fogo de Chão while celebrating my dad’s birthday with the whole family. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and spotless the restaurant was. The lighting and overall atmosphere were elegant and inviting, which added to the enjoyable and relaxed vibe of the evening. We all went with the full experience menu, and every bite was outstanding. The meats cuts were outstanding, the salad bar was fresh and well stocked, and the service was truly exceptional. A special thank you to Fernando, Byron, and Maria for their exceptional service. They were warm, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout our meal. Their hospitality really elevated the whole evening and made it feel even more special. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending Fogo de Chão to friends and family. It was a memorable experience from start to finish!

This was a great restaurant and it was a great experience. I went here with my family for lunch and I have to say the staff was very friendly and welcoming, constantly checking on us to make sure we were comfortable. My kids and I are not meat eaters but my husband loves meat. This place offered a marketplace style salad bar with a variety of high quality salad, fruits, cold cuts and cheese. I personally loved the salad varieties. Couldn't get enough of it. My husband selected a choice of meat and was welcomed with cuts of meat within minutes of silent request. Staff was seen constantly rotating around the room with different types of meats. My family and I overall loved this place and it is now one of our new favorites.

Apart from the awesome food, Jenny Melo, Annie, Jenna and Tati were awesome! Great service very helpful and pleasant personalities. Made the whole experience so much better. Special shout out to Jenna.

We spent Christmas Day at this restaurant and it was a great choice. The food was delicious and every staff member we interacted with was kind and professional. Jenny, in particular, stood out—her customer service was excellent! She was energetic, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. She even encouraged us to sing Xmas songs and brought holiday spirit to the whole table.

Jenny from Fogo de Chao was wonderful from the point we walked in. Our server was also professional and courteous from the moment we sat down till even after we got up to leave. Service with a smile even though it was a little over bearing at times with other big parties happening at the same time. Jenny even stopped what she was doing to just say thank you and hope to see us again. Top notch service and food. Will be back but with a bigger group next time.

Last minute visit reserved a table for 9pm due to snowstorm we decided to get out before getting stuck inside. We arrived at 8:40 and were seated by 8:55 which was fantastic cause we had our daughter with us. Our serve Mya was very attentive always smiling which is rare for people working these days. A wonderful experience thank you we will be back.

I was dining with my disabled daughter, and Jenny went far beyond her responsibilities to make her feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely special. Her attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism elevated our entire experience. The food was absolutely delicious — everything fresh, perfectly prepared, and served with true hospitality. Between the outstanding service and the incredible flavors, we felt completely taken care of. We highly recommend Fogo de Chão and will definitely return again.

Jelly Melo was incredible! She made us feel right at home when we walked into the restaurant. She explained the menu perfectly to us and kept checking in to make sure we were well taken care of. It was my first experience at Fogo de Chão and it was very unique and fun!

OMG!!!! THE ATMOSPHERE IS EXCELLENT AND OUR WAITRESS WAS EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE. THE SERVERS THAT WALKED AROUND WITH DIFFERT CUTS OF MEAT WERE EXCELLENT. THERE WAS A BARTENDER NAMED CARLOS( THE ORIGINAL) HE WAS VERY JOVIAL AND INTERACTED WITH US AS IF WE WERE FAMILY. HE EXPLA INED THE COCTAILS AND WHAT WAS IN THEM. HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THEM WAS EXCELLENT AND HE MADE OUR FIRST TIME VISIT A PLEASURE. EVERY PERSON WORKING THERE THAT WE MET WAS POLITE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL OF THE FOOD. THEIR MOSCATO WINE IS LIGHT, A HINT OF CRISPNESS AND A SUTTLE SWEETNESS. I 😍 IT. I LOVED THEIR FLOOR MANAGER AS SHE WENT ABOUT HELPING US WITH QUESTIONS. I AM DEFINITELY GOING BACK. FOGO DE CHAO WAS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND I HAD A GREAT TIME.

Dinner | $50–100 I had such a wonderful experience celebrating a special occasion with my family at this restaurant. Fernando Customer Service Representative was truly fantastic, making us feel very well taken care of. He explained everything clearly, especially about the salad bar, which everyone enjoyed. We started our meal with Garlic Steak and Lamb, and I have to say, the Lamb was probably my favorite part! I can’t wait to return! Everything at the salad bar was delicious, and the dessert was absolutely phenomenal. It was such a lovely outing.

Was worried about waiting long we were seated In less then 10 minutes and Our server Maya was amazing constantly asking. If we we needed anything always smiling. What a breathe of fresh air in this line of work and this generation it’s rare to get good service.

She is consistently warm, attentive, and professional, and she truly makes us feel welcomed and valued with each visit. Adriana remembers her guests, anticipates needs, and goes above and beyond to ensure an outstanding experience. Her consistency, positive attitude, and genuine care are what keep us coming back. It’s rare to find someone who provides such high-level service every time, and Adriana does it effortlessly. I took my son out to celebrate his 17th birthday along with 10 other family members, and everything about our experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, perfect for our special occasion. The food was amazing; every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The service really stood out. The restaurant manager, Jenny Melo, and our waitress, Andrea, took such great care of us. They were attentive, kind, and made sure everything ran smoothly for our large group. They helped make my son’s birthday celebration feel extra special. We left with a fantastic experience and so many great memories. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent food and outstanding service!

The food is absolutely delicious. My favorite part is the marketplace. I come and dine here all the time. But tonight, Carlos made my night by personally serving me with the Passion Fruit Capirina. Sooo good!!! Steak photos not pictured cause I gobbled it up!

We ended up at Fogo Garden City rather late on Saturday night. Not only were they open, but they also have a late happy hour. Music was playing softly in the background. I was able to get a delicious HUGH tasty burger with risotto strips for $10. Drinks were reasonably priced and varied. We we able to sit at a table beside the bar. My friend had lamb chop "lollipops" that came with delicious bread rolls. I had a Samba Smash martini ( a bit sweet for my taste) that was flavorful, cold, and smooth. They lost a star because the burgers were a long time coming (15 mins?), but to make up for the delay, they gave us free desserts! This is my new go-to place. I want to try all the menu items.

Went for lunch on a weekday (2.3.26). Beautiful restaurant. Made a reservation, was seated promptly w/o check in. Very helpful servers to help w/menu options. Ordered Chilian sea bass w/market salad and Churisca with steak, chicken and lamb along w/market salad. Service and food was exceptional. Sorry I didn't get the names of the servers, they were all very pleasant and helpful (2 ladies and 1 gentlemen). Checked on us during our meal w/o us feeling pushy or rushed. Would like to thank them for an amazing 75th birthday lunch for my better half. Took takeout to bring home. Will be returning soon. Thanks again.

Fogo de Chão is a place we go to often, and overall we do enjoy it. I definitely recommend going on a non-busy day. When it’s extremely crowded, the service can feel rushed, and at times the food has come out a bit undercooked, likely due to the volume. That said, when you go during a calmer time, the service is decent and attentive, and the food is really good. One thing I appreciate is that if you ask for specific cuts or make special requests, they’re usually very accommodating and deliver on those requests. Timing really makes the difference here, but when it’s done right, it’s a great dining experience.

We went here celebrating someone's birthday and the greeter never asked us if we were here for a special occasion, and cound not be found later to request a desert and/or to let her know of someone's birthday. I would not recommend this restaurant just because of the food, way over seasoned, and extremely salty. Steak was lacking in flavor and had a rank taste. Lamb was dry, the crab cake was tasty, but was very salty and saturated in oil. The lobster mash did taste good but was also very salty and sitting in a pool of oil! One of my party requested no red meat, and our waitress told us no problem, I will personally tell them not to bring any red meat. But they did the total opposite and had to get filled up with sides and salad bar. Our waitress checked up on us two times and then dissappear for the rest of the night. I was wondering where she was to ask her about the mix-up, where we had to ask someone else to find her and bring the check. Someone finally brought out the check, and it wasn't our waitress, and they didn't explain her whereabouts. The atmosphere was nice, the staff was very attentive, except our waitress of course, but the food was not good and I will not celebrate any occasions at this restaurant again. The only things I enjoyed were the cheese bread and the chicken salad.

Not worth it! We were a party of 7 celebrating a special birthday and our entire experience was extremely disappointing. Meat quality is mediocre at best. Service was horrible. We had to keep asking for food to come out and it was taken as long as long as 20 minutes to get a piece of meat served to us. Asked for lamb chops 5 times and it took them 90 minutes to come out. At that point the meal was over. This is not ok. At some point the servers were just not stopping at our table. That's absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant offering a Brazilian barbecue type of experience. I've eaten at many other establishments that offer the Brazilian barbecue experience and it's never been as horrible as what we experienced.

I'm very disappointed about the service here. Me and my friend went there to have dinner. At first, we got like about 6 different waitress/waiters asking us if we were ready to order. When we finally ordered, I got my food and my friend got her sides; However, they didn't bring the meat that she ordered, we waited for a little bit, then, since she still didn't get her meat, we reached out to a waitress. The waitress said that she would check and that the meat would come soon. Few minutes later, we asked another waitress, but we got the same answer. After about 40 minutes, and asking 6 different staff members, we reached out to someone that seems to be the manager. We explained the situation, and he said that he would check. We told them that we didn't want the foid anymore as every was already cold and my friend ate the salad that we got from the salad bar. It was my first time there, and will be the last for sure. Customer service doesn't seem to be something that they care for. However, I have to say, Carlos, the person that was making the drinks, he seemed to care more about offering a good service, than the rest of the people there. He made us very good drinks. Besides that, this place is not a place that I would recommend to anybody, unless I want someone else to have the same experience, of course.

The cold bar is fantastic. Table service is average. Broader theme is inconsistency. The Passadores zip by your table, with lightening speed, enroute to others while you sit there with the green-side up and an empty plate. The lamb was good, bacon-wrapped filet-mignon was rubbery, garlic steak was ok. Chicken options were horrible. Sausage was salty and garlicy. We realized the Rodízio-style doesn’t work for us. Next time, we’ll go to a steak restaurant and order a la carte. For equal value, we could have enjoyed a great steak.

I walked into Fogo de Chão after seeing it recommended by a food influencer. I’ve had a similar experience in Dubai at Texas de Brazil, where the service is continuous and the meats keep coming, so I went in with high expectations. It was the afternoon with very few guests — some already finished, others still eating. After being seated, I went to the salad bar and was surprised to see only cold items: salads and hummus, but no pita bread, mashed potatoes, or warm sides. While I was eating, I noticed the same waitress who seated me bringing mashed potatoes and other hot sides to guests who arrived after me. When she passed my table, I had to ask if those were extra or included. She said, “Don’t worry, it’s coming.” Honestly, it felt like I wouldn’t have received them if I hadn’t asked. When the meat service started, the portions were very small and extremely slow. My plate would be completely empty, and I’d just sit there waiting. In about 30 minutes, meat came to my table only around four times, which is disappointing for the price. For a place that’s supposed to be all about continuous service, the pace was frustratingly slow — especially considering there were very few guests. If service is this slow during a quiet afternoon, I can’t imagine how it feels on a busy weekend night. On top of that, no dessert is included. Overall, for the price and expectations, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
