This was such an amazing time! I went with some friends and we all very much enjoyed it! Definitely recommend for friend groups! Food was delicious and we left very full! The service was also great! She explained the whole process very well and was very patient with all of our questions. Will definitely be coming back!
This place blew me away! I had never been to a Korean BBQ place before, so I really didn’t know what to expect. The server was great at explaining the whole process. The food was really good! And how cool is it that you can cook it yourself? The little buffet off to the side is nice too because you can eat a little while you wait for the meat/veggies to cook. I didn’t try the hotpot, but it looked really good. I highly recommend that you try this place out!
Insanely delicious and great value! My wife and I left absolutely full and happy! $52 before tip for lunch with unlimited desserts and appetizers. Couldn't be better. Flavors were fantastic, server was helpful and it was nice and quiet on a weekday at 1pm. So many options, definitely will be back soon! We drove close to an hour and don't mind at all!
My daughter and I dined in on their third day of soft opening. (8/14/2024) The service was great, and the staff was attentive to our needs. The speed was as expected and not slow, as time is needed to bring out the items to cook or eat. The selection isn't bad, but could be broader in flavors. At this location, they have a bar right when you walk in. In the far back area, there is a section where there are a couple of prepared items such as Egg Rolls, Japchae, Kimchi, and Pickled Radish. Also included in that section are the ingredients to make your own dipping sauce to your liking, and finally, there are a variety of cut fruits. We decided to go with Korean BBQ and Hotpot, which at this time came out to $33.99 per person during dinner time, plus $5.00 for doing both options rather than just one. We finished approximately an hour after and were quickly assisted in receiving our check, and then left. Overall, I think that the inside looks as expected for a new place; however, I expect more of an update in the future where the atmosphere will feel a lot more natural, such as learning what volume to set the music at, or decorations and placement of certain tables or stands. I would return again and I recommend that you try it out for yourself. ________________________________________________________ Update: as of 9/2/2024 We've gone several times since they opened, and I will say that the decorations have improved. Therefore, the atmosphere rating has gone up. Additionally, the food selection in terms of sides and sauces has increased. They added Gochujang Paste in the sauce area, Korean Shrimp Chive Pancakes, Fried Chicken, Non-spicy Tteokbokki, Pickled Daikon, and Carrots. Overall, there have only been improvements. ________________________________________________________ Visited: 1 - (8/14/2024) Dinner Visited: 2 - (8/16/2024) Lunch Visited: 3 - (8/19/2024) Lunch Visited: 4 - (8/23/2024) Dinner Visited: 5 - (9/02/2024) Dinner Visited: 6 - (9/13/2024) Lunch Visited: 7 - (10/03/2024) Dinner Visited: 8 - (11/13/2024) Dinner Visited: 9 - (12/10/2024) Dinner Visited: 10 - (1/15/2025) Dinner Visited: 11 - (3/05/2025) Dinner Visited: 12 - (4/02/2025) Dinner Visited: 13 - (4/09/2025) Dinner ________________________________________________________
Honestly I haven't experienced this level of customer service and overall 100% satisfaction while visiting a new restaurant in a very long time. The presentation, the quality of the meats, the experience of cooking your own food Korean BBQ Style is on another level! I highly recommend this place to EVERYONE!
Food was fun to cook and great tasting. Server was excellent, seriously best server I think I've ever had. All the food was good. We did korean bbq, everything was great, my girls loved the garlic pork belly. The price is debatable, I'm 230 lbs and can eat my money's worth. But my girls are like 4'9" and 120 lbs and only eat like 10$ worth of food. So 32$ might be a bit much for the smaller appetites. But the bonding family experience is great and worthwhile. They have a great appetizer section with sauces and desserts as well. Overall we had a wonderful time.
What a great experience. I highly recommend this place as a night out. As of Dec. 2024, it was about $32 a person for dinner. My party of 4 did the Korean BBQ, it's all you can eat. You can tack on an extra $5 each of you want to do the hot pots as well. It's all or none if you do that as a note. Our server was hilarious and great, failed to catch his name. They also have a small appetizer and dessert station that is all you can eat as well (ice cream bar cooler as well). In case you don't know, Korean BBQ is cook your own food at the table. Same applies for the hot pots, but the servers / staff are there to help. Portions are "small" but come out as you need and promptly. It wasn't super busy, but busy enough. They don't want food to go to waste and that is made clear at the start of your experience. With 4 people though and the appetizer station, portion sizes were large enough to keep us eating. If you're thinking about going, go. 10/10 and definitely worth the try.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious! We did both BBQ and hotpot which was $40 per adult. Very very worth it.
We had a fabulous experience- 2 couples, BBQ only and we all vowed to come back and try the hot pot experience! We swapped the grill out twice and ate our weight in bulogi beef- try the spicy! It isn't that spicy, I promise. Also, the Mr. Kimchi sauce was sweet and tangy, which was a delicious choice!

my new favorite restaurant. I've been twice in the last month. Nothing but friendly service and great food. re-orders come quickly and as long as you're eating what you're ordering they keep it coming...went alone and it was good, but with more people it's a better overall experience.
We had the BBQ and a variety of meat n vegetables. All was delicious. Buffet was great, good selection of food n sauces. Place is clean. Staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful and professional. It was a delight to eat here.
So so good! Fantastic service, excellent food, friendly staff and very fair pricing 😋 someone in our party had a seafood allergy and they were able to accommodate no problem.

I've been here around 10 times now me and my cousin go monthly, waiters/waitresses are always very nice, food is always great, would 100% recommend, bill is usually about 58 for 2 people including hot pot and kbbq.

I love this place soooo much! I was introduced to it by my friend and we have been going non stop. It’s a good deal for lunch time price wise! Dinner can be pricey, but if you like seafood the price is great for all you can eat seafood (whether it’s from the buffet or in your hotpot/grill). The crab legs and crawfish are very good from the buffet! Staff are very helpful and quick with getting ordered items out. The restaurant is very clean as well. If you haven’t gone yet, let this be your sign, staff will explain how hotpot/grilling works if it is your first time there!! I recommend hotpot!!
Believe Me It’s Good – New Hartford Edition Cooking your own dinner at the table can either be amazing… or a disaster. Tonight we found out which one it was. Tonight we checked out Mr. Kimchi Korean BBQ & Hotpot for something a little different — all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. We ordered the All-You-Can-Eat BBQ for $31.99 and added the Hot Pot option for another $5. First Impressions Right away the place felt very clean, modern, and spacious. There are three separate dining rooms, a full-service bar, and a large sides bar stocked with fried rice, noodles, spring rolls, sauces, different kimchis, desserts, and even an ice-cream cooler. One thing that caught my attention when we sat down was the lack of vent hoods above the grills, which made me wonder if it would get smoky. Turns out each table uses a downdraft grill system, and it’s surprisingly quiet so you can actually hold a conversation while cooking your food. Service Our waiter was fantastic. Since it was our first time trying Korean BBQ, we told him that up front and he walked us through the entire experience. He was funny, helpful, and checked back on us multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly. Great service like that really makes a first-time experience better. What I Ordered We tried several of the pre-seasoned meats from the BBQ menu, which made things simple — most of the work is just putting it on the grill and letting it cook. White rice is available by request. For the hot pot, they offer several broth choices including miso, vegetable, tom yum, and Szechuan. From there you can order different meats, vegetables, and noodles to cook in the broth. I chose the Szechuan hot pot, which had great flavor and a solid level of heat. The peppercorns and capers definitely wake you up if you bite into one — sometimes a little unexpectedly — but overall it was very flavorful. Pro Tip Try grilling the bok choy first before adding it to the hot pot. It adds a really nice flavor. The quail eggs were also a great addition. Also be mindful when ordering — there are signs stating they may charge $13.99 for excessive uneaten food, so pace yourself.
Traditional hot pot and Korean BBQ. Literally dozens of different options to choose from. You select what types of meat and fish you would like. They bring it to you raw, and you cook it yourself on the hot plate and grill built into your table. So many items to choose from, but it's all you can eat. There is also a buffet section. So make sure to sample everything. Customer service was exceptional. I would strongly caution people with food allergies, as cross-contamination will be very likely in this setting. Overall, if you're looking for a different dining experience, where your the chef. make sure you check out, Mr. Kimchi. If you prefer a more traditional dining experience, this may not be a great fit for you.
Fast, reliable and respectable service throughout their servers. Although through time the place will become humid and overwhelming the atmosphere was upbeat and fast pacing. Their food was delivered to the table from 3-6 minutes after ordering it. Very well priced if you pace yourself!

Fun place to eat. I've got no frame of reference for how hot pot places go, it was my first time trying one, but this was great. Nice selection of veggies and protein. Good options for drinks. The mix your own sauce area was awesome. Went with work friends and we had a blast.
While the prepared foods provided were delicious, my biggest craving when going to a Korean BBQ restaurant is the short rib. Shortly after their grand opening, the short rib was flavorful and quality......HOWEVER.... revisiting since then has proven a decline in quality. The short rib sincerely had the consistency of rubber. It was so tough it made eating it impossible. It was too difficult to even bite off a normal piece since I had to grip with both hands and tear like an animal for a bite. Even though the short rib was devastating, the service was great.

Food quality was just ok nothing special. The kalbi was pretty poor. Servers kept serving one end of the large table and led to mixing up of orders. Portions are also tiny even though we had a large group. Have been to many better places
Good meat. Yum. Fun to cook. Good fruit. BUT: they charge dinner prices ($10 extra per person) all day on weekends. A little scammy if you ask me.

The service was very nice. The food on the other hand wasn't good I spent $89 and was completely unsatisfied I think the best thing there is the store bought ice cream. Please don't waste your money like me:/
