Took my friend here for lunch today. It was our first time, and won't be the last. The prices are excellent and the sushi was fresh. Server was really nice too. Gave my friend tempura ice cream on the house because it was her birthday.

This place has some of the best sushi, the best staff, and great prices. Daniel and Edward were extremely nice to us, these are some of the nicest servers I've had in a long time. My father and I had eyes bigger than our stomach but we will for sure be back ten times over!!!!

We had the All-You-Can-Eat sushi. The sushi was very good and I got to try different kind of sushi I have never tried before.

We just had the most amazing lunch. We got the super premium all-you-can-eat lunch. It was incredible. Presentation was awesome. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the food was on point! So fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be returning as often as I can.

I ate here almost 2 weeks ago (A-Y-C-E). It's right next to Amazon Fresh, so I saw it all the time. Finally tried it for the first time, and it was great. The rolls were good, nice selection, but I'll skip the sesame chicken and calamari apps next time I'm there. They were a little small, and I was expecting something else, but I ate them and they were fine. Will definitely go back! I got to sit alone, watching Netflix by myself, eating great food in a quiet environment. It even had smooth jazz playing. Honestly, that was the perfect afternoon! I want that to be my Groundhog Day.

As a birthday gift, my daughter wanted to eat here for lunch. (She's always liked this place.) I was dreading going because the service was so bad on our last visit. But it's what she wanted. So this recent visit... Fantastic! I tried new things due to their All You Can Eat lunch. (careful... ther are rules!) But for good reasons. It's not a deal breaker. Our service was fantastic as well. A+ for this visit. We look forward to going back real soon.

Oh my, yummy and well worth the ayce. The salmon and yellowtail nigiri was especially delicious, and all the other rolls were very good. The service was fast and consistently around when we needed them. The space is not huge but can seat a couple of parties of 6 at the same time and it's clean. We will be back frequently.

The sushi here is really great! If you're very hungry, you can order the all you can eat sushi. Keep in mind that you get to order twice and all of the food that you order must be consumed within an hour and a half. They don't allow you to take home food from the all you can eat. I also enjoyed their lunch combination of chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, and a California roll. Everything tastes great and we will be going back!

It is the best all you can eat sushi place ... Even tho it say all you can eat . You only get 2 rounds . Honestly it's way more than enough. It seems like a down fall but its actually not. It's way more than enough. You can choose as many as u want each round . Gonna emphasize the sushi is Delicious .. 10 stars if I could

I only tried the AYCE menu and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. The nigiri doesn't have too much rice and they give a decent amount of fish. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi in the west valley

I've been visiting this restaurant for over two years now, and here's my general overview of the place. TL;DR at bottom. TL;DR = Too Long, Didn't Read. Food - Great. The sushi is what you would expect from a sushi restaurant, and has always remained consistent every time I have visited. Service - Hit or miss. This time, I was lucky to get a great server named Erin. She was attentive and cleared plates quite often. Also checked in and actually cared about the customer. She deserves a raise and is one of the decent servers at Sushi Ko. However, the last time I was here, I got a college guy who seemed like he didn't want to be there and was fed up with the requests my party was making. Forgot about my order and made me sit around 30 mins for a second round of All You Can Eat, and literally tossed the check on the table and walked away without saying a word. If you get a bad server, it will ruin your entire experience. Helpful things to know: All You Can Eat (AYCE) - Great deal! Definitely recommend ordering. Note that there is no takeaway and no sharing with another person who also isn't eating AYCE. However, AYCE is a great deal as it costs $30 with unlimited rolls and sushi. For perspective, each roll from the menu will set you back about $10. You also can choose sushi and AYCE comes with a scoop of ice cream. If you're not up for All You Can Eat, the dinner combinations and bento boxes are great as well. They come with salad, rice, your choice of protein, tempura, and your choice of roll or sushi. Sushi and any other protein other than chicken will cost you 1 or 2 dollars more. The restaurant was also recently renovated, and it looks great. One more thing to note. Don't sit in a table 2 rows from the air conditioner unless you're a polar bear, as it is freezing (At least for me.) since all the air is blowing directly into your back the whole time while you're sitting there. The air also is very cold. Great place overall, looking forward to coming back! (Dinner recommended.) TL;DR: Food is great and always consistent, service is hit or miss (Please read into that more instead of just not going here) and restaurant is great overall. Definitely recommend for dinner.

I love this place! I like to come after work by myself sometimes. It is so nice and peaceful. I love the atmosphere. The food is amazing. It's fresh it's delicious. My favorite thing that they serve is the Yellow tail. It is so delicious. It is made so perfectly. The price is just like any other sushi place. But this place makes it worth it. They do serve alcohol. The service is great, they are so attentive.

Sushi Ko in Santa Clarita might be small, but their sushi is top-notch. The fish is always fresh, and the rolls are innovative and delicious. I especially love their rainbow roll and the spicy tuna. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed night out. It's a great spot if you're craving sushi but want to avoid the usual crowded places in LA

This place has greatly improved since the last time I have been here. The service is excellent and the fish quality is pretty good as well. The only thing is this is not a good place for large parties. The restaurant will have limited seating for parties of around 6 or more as they only have a few sections big enough to accommodate that large of a party. The All-You-Can-Eat option is a great value.

As of may 2023. Weekend AYCA doesn't have a option it's all dinner prices. It kinda annoyed me because we went for lunch I ate 2 rolls and my partner ate about 1 roll and we had to pay 100 bucks plus 18 dollar tip. For that price I rather go to a better place with better atmosphere.

I eat here every 2/3 weeks. Its not fancy. But it is nice, food is good. the prices are worth the portions. the staff are very friendly. And pick up orders are usually ready in about 15-20 minutes some times faster

Couple reasons why I rated this restaurant a 4 star. Food taste was delicious all around. Service was good. Reasons why I gave 4 stars: The chef gave me a Hungry Roll which was baked instead of Hot Night Roll. I'm not really into baked rolls, but I still ate it. Maybe its because I was really hungry. My wife ordered a sprite but took a while to come out, they also would serve me yuzu sauce without charging me for it. The owner seemed friendly, but was very quite and not very good customer service skills. We ordered 8 rolls and 2 orders of sushi. Total without tip was $85.03, I was okay with the price, but would of preferred the yuzu sauce, it adds to the meal and experience.

he food was very good, portions are large. I'm not cool with how they put mayo in the handrolls. The fish is fresh and the service is snappy. There's a nice variety of rolls and dishes on the menu. Unfortunately for me, most of the rolls have Shellfish in them. My friend was happy with the variety. It's a nice, cozy environment good for bringing a date. There plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. Overall, I recommend Sushi Ko.

Would've given this place 5 stars for sure, had my son's food not been forgotten and been so late for his supposed All-you-can-eat orders, especially after I had to remind them a second time about bringing it out. The food itself was decent and not bad at all. I'd like to give them a second chance. However, at the cost I paid at the end for our food, the cost doesn't really justify the forgotten and then late arrival of food and lack of service. And it's not like it was busy, because it was far from that. I honestly had high expectations about this place, and more so after my son raved about it to me. But sad to say that we've definitely received top notch and way better service and attention from hole-in-the-wall locations compared to this upper-scale type place.

A

The food was tasty but the service was a little lacking. When we first sat in the nearly empty restaurant, we weren't greeted and weren't given menus for more than 5 minutes, while the host just stood a few feet away not paying attention to us. It's strange when even your young niece asks, "Why aren't they helping us?" Once we got our drinks and started ordering, the food arrived quickly and we enjoyed it. The only real frustration was that hesitation at the beginning, but it was long enough to get under our skin (considering we were pretty hungry). I would rate the food 4 stars and the service 2 stars, so I settled on 3. The prices were also about average, though we were there for the 30% off 3pm-6pm happy hour.

R

It was good but didn't taste that fresh more like frozen fish. The portions were big but at the same time a lot of rice. The prices have gone up and least options unless you pay for the premium. Overall ok for me

Service is excellent but food is only good. Nothing wrong with the food other than it is overpriced. You could get a more adequately priced dinner elsewhere. The flavors were all there. Short rib dinner was $27.95, thin sliced ribs, but it wasn’t very big (small portion) and they went a little overboard with the sauce. This dinner came with salad and rice. Atmosphere is intimate and pleasant.

J
Justin

All you can eat has hidden limits as they will slow down their service and eventually tell you that you have been ordering too much. Even ordering alcohol wasn't enough for them as they politely told us we could have one more order. Picture is of a group of four.

Never again. The place is not only so unfriendly the food is very basic. Also cannot believe they charged full price for a 3 year old. That does not happen anywhere else... Also why would anyone put onion in toro handroll. The only roll i liked was rock shrimp roll. The fish quality is very average for the price they charge.

Combos and special rolls are tasty, an enjoyable food experience.. if they don't mix up your order. They switched ours with someone else and didn't give any apologies or commercial gesture. The boss of the restaurant is like a bear with a soar head, even to recurring customers like ourselves, AVOID IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE

6 pieces of sushi and ended up costing $26 dollars while you can get good sushi rolls at Ralphs for $7 for 10 pieces. Service was bad. We ordered to go and we waited 20 minutes for our food until we figured out the the cashier forgot to even tell chiefs about our order.

👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽READ ALL ABOUT👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 “Discrimination and poor business practice” DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS This restaurant has to be upfront and specific when it comes down to what they mean by all you can eat or what’s allow or not. I choose the all you can eat unlimited sushi, from the dinner menu. I chose this restaurant from a few others and I went with my wife. I started ordering the pieces that I wanted from the sashimi section, the sashimi came with rice which I didn’t know. I chose to eat some of the rice, but I rather eat the protein. As I was eating, the server comes up to me and said “you have to eat everything on your plate or else I would not be able to order more. With that comment, I looked at my wife and I looked at my plate ( he was referring to the rice). (This was my first round out of three as illustrated in the menu) is the first thing I said, this is embarrassing that you have to coming up to me and tell me what I can do and what I can’t do when I’m paying a premium to come to your establishment for “All you can eat”. All the proteins were gone but the only thing on my plate was the little bit of rice that I left which was over portioned/ served with the sashimi. This is embarrassing and poor business practice, that you have to tell your customers that “eat all your rice or else you will not be allow to order” , with that said if your customer does not want to eat all of his/her/him rice, Customer shouldn’t be forced to eat rice, when RICE cost cents on the dollar. I didn’t come to your establishment to eat rice, I came to your establishment to eat sashimi…all I can eat.. which you advertise. If I order sashimi, and I choose to eat all the sushi (protein) over the rice, that’s up to me! your establishment should not jeopardize a customer for not eating ALL the RICE. This is false advertisement, or was a directed discrimination by your establishment. If you’re reading this, you should go somewhere else . I will be requesting a full refund by my Amex… I will continue to elevate this up the channels until your business is recognize for poor business practice, discrimination and false advertisement NEGATIVE STAR

3/12 updated review - this last weekend on take out they were hour behind and got home with my take out and all food was cold. Called and they said all they could do was a credit for half the cold food. Come on! I have to pay for cold food take out because you guys don't know how to run a resturant? Time to move on! Was great but raised prices after they remodeled now just not worth it anymore. Did pick up tonight and resturant dead because of the huge price hikes. Use to be 100 for family of five now 175...

I'm not sure where the reviews for this place come from. Probably friends and family. The sushi is horrible. Fish is bad. The spicy tuna has the consistency of toothpaste. Mush! I paid $30 for a combination sushi that wasn't worth a dollar. I had their food about 2 years ago and had vowed to never order from here again. 2 years later I had forgotten. Bad mistake. One I will NOT make again, and I hope you won't either. They should close their doors forever so nobody else suffers the same mistake.

A
Ahm Hassan

All you can eat SCAM!!!!! Food is absolutely unfresh, and several fillers are on the verge of spoiling. crispy rolls? That was definitely fried yesterday, in my opinion. The all-you-can-eat deal is a ruse; they won't let you enjoy your food. Even if it's all you can eat, they will pressure you to complete before you can place an order.

We have been coming to Sushi Ko for over 10 + years, sometimes 2-3 times a week except for last year (because of COVID). We know the owners and we have seen a slew of chefs change. The sushi is middle of the road at best, but it is convenient and my son likes it. We had made a reservation on a weekday at 7:30pm but got there 20 min late. We mentioned that we were late but said we would wait for the next table as there was no one after us. Given that the tables were full we asked ( me and two teenagers) that they start preparing our food and if a table didn't open they could give it to us a to go (as we could be running close to closing time). As we were waiting another customer with a larger party came after us and put down their name. When the next table opened I mentioned that we were in line. First they said it was a six person table (which wasn't the case as it was two small tables put together), then they made an excuse about us being late. When I pointed out that they were lying, instead of apologizing and admitting their mistake to salvage the situation, the owner's wife got aggressive. Last time we are ever going to Sushi KO. No wonder they have such bad reviews!!!

B
Brent K

Took awhile to be seated, the sushi was fine. They talked us into ordering their all you can eat buffet option so we did. When we were done we had a California roll left over. We asked for a bag for it and they informed us they had to charge us for this remaining roll because any food left over they charge you for a second time separately. Very misleading, we were never notified of this when they urged us to order their all you can eat option. Misleading business practices, shady. Will not be going back a second time, Buyer beware.

J
Jeremy Sniderman

I gave them the opportunity to redeem themselves and they fell way short of that. Brought out our orders on wood planks and couldn't tell us what was on the plank. We ordered all you can eat. We received rolls We didn't order at all. They use way too much rice. Service was awful and their prices is ridiculous high for the poor quality of sushi and rolls. Not to mention they don't even know what they were serving us. I do not recommend this place at all. Store bought sushi is better, no joke. Go to Ralph's you will get better spicy tuna rolls. That is when you know there is a problem. Just an awful experience once again.

HAIR in the food with no refund or apology. My family has ordered from this restaurant nearly every week for the past year - tonight will be the last time. After picking up the order we returned home to find a long hair under and around our order of salmon sashimi. This in itself is understandable as these things happen - but it was the response by the manager that is the issue. I called to explain the issue and they asked that I send a picture (attached to this post) and the manager refused to take responsibility. There was no refund and no apology from the manager (the person I talked to on the phone was very apologetic but could not help me without the manager approval). I can assure you it was not from anyone in our family as it was wrapped under the fish!

We decided to try a local Sushi restaurant close to where live. Wanted to experience everything they had so we ordered the full AYCE menu. Sadly, the restaurant disappointed us beyond imagination. The food felt like it was soaked in sugar as most of the rolls were so sweet that it can’t even be used for dessert in some cases. The fish was sliced almost paper thin and devout of flavor or any sense of freshness. We hated leaving food uneaten, but were forced to do so. Needless to say we are not going back there again.

I went there with my husband and 5month old baby, it was our third time at this place. First two times was not perfect, but okay. We knew that place is tight and took only car seat, no stroller. The food was different from the times before, rolls shape was just something. But the real problem started when baby started crying, we already ate 3 rolls and had 3 more just served, not touched, I was trying to calm down baby but didn't work. It's all our responsibility we understand, but could happen to anyone. I asked waiter to take the food out, explained everything, it was obvious that it's because we didn't want to bother other customers. The owner was right next to us, at the bar and waiter even asked him if it's possible. The answer was NO. We decided just to leave. We were okay with that. It took a while to get check, even they see that baby was crying. They charged 113$ for two drinks and all-you-can-eat menu, and I was surprised when they charged 37$ for the food we didn't eat. They said it's because we ordered but didn't eat but still couldn't take it out. Not friendly place, with not good food and over priced. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

…there are much better places for sushi in the area…they consistently Miss parts of your order and do nothing to make it right…worst place for Japanese in the neighborhood…

Came here 2 years ago for dinner and to this day this is the WORST sushi we have ever had from any restaurant. The salmon and tuna were mushy and turning grey in parts of our rolls and nigiri. The fish itself is the same quality as a grocery store like Vons. There were also flies in the establishment and one them landed on our sushi. Extremely unappetizing and unclean. The Amazon Fresh next door had better looking sushi in their display case! (We checked)

Food poisoning! Both my husband and i got food poisoning from here. I was breastfeeding at the time still so you can imagine how horrible it went for us. I'm glad they're closed i would never recommend it
