Great atmosphere. We were a party of 7 with no reservations at 7pm on Sunday night and made it to the hibatchi table no problem. We ordered all the seafood options and were not disappointed. The scallops and spicy shrimp were our favorites. Highly recommend.

Awesome place with great atmosphere. The food was excellent, but could hold back on some of the soy sauce which is added to absolutely everything in gallons, so shrouds some of the flavours of superbly cooked food.

We always have a great time here! The bar service staff always creates such a fun and welcoming vibe, and the rolls are quality. Flat griddle tops for fun family gatherings and TVs for games too. We'll keep coming back!

Kobe has been around for a long time and it's been a couple of years since I've been. Went for a Friday night dinner with a friend. It was great to see the service and food is still really good. We chose to sit at the Habachi table and chef Rocky took care of us. My friend and I shared an order of mixed tempura off the regular menu and both had the NY Steak and Scallop dinner and upgraded to the bacon fried rice (I'm told you can have them add fresh garlic too, which I will next time) . Everything was absolutely delicious and seasoned well. I washed my meal down with a watermelon mint cooler, which was refreshing on a hot day. Reservations are recommended as Kobe is a popular place. Be aware, while there is parking, the lot is on the smaller side and is shared by other restaurants so fills up quickly on busy nights. You may have to park on the street.

We had a reservation and were seated quickly on a busy Tuesday night. Service was efficient, but communication about an egg allergy was limited and not very reassuring. The restaurant was crowded and noisy, making it hard to interact with the chef. The food was fine- the rice had good flavor, but the steak, chicken, and vegetables were fairly plain. For two hibachi dinners, two sodas, and a side of bacon rice, the total came to $140 with an automatic 18% tip. While I don’t mind paying for a great dining experience, this one simply didn’t deliver the quality or value to match the price

Just an ok place for typical sushi rolls and Japanese dishes. The rolls were just "ok" nothing that requires an outstanding comment. I've had better. The pricing was reasonable for the appetizers and also the rolls. However, charging $4.95 for a glass of soda (regardless of refills) is crazy. Service I gave 4 stars, I can tell they are trying, but something deeper goes on in this establishment, to the extent that the service seems a bit, well, "fake" Sadly, but not really, I won't be returning.

Kobe Japan Pleasant Hill offers delightful sushi experiences. The Rainbow roll was exceptionally fresh and delicious. The service, particularly from the Asian lady, was impeccable and added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I really enjoyed my lunch time here.

Julienne steak at this place is terrible. Very tough meat. I think they should remove this dish on the menu. First and last at this restaurant.

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding our experience last night at your restaurant. We had a 7:00 PM reservation at a hibachi table, and unfortunately, several issues affected our evening. Our server, who was wearing his hat tilted to the side and had cut in his eyebrows took our order incorrectly. We ordered spicy shrimp and chicken, along with a tuna sushi taco. However, our order was brought out incorrectly, and we never received the tuna sushi taco at all. When we addressed the mistake, there was no apology or effort made to correct the situation in a professional manner.Additionally, when we informed the chef that we had not ordered chicken and beef, his attitude noticeably changed. After that, he seemed to ignore us for the remainder of the meal, which made the experience uncomfortable.To make matters worse, while we were still eating and had not finished our food, another staff member removed our plates without asking us. This was extremely disappointing and made us feel rushed and disregarded.We chose your restaurant expecting a pleasant hibachi experience, but unfortunately, the service did not meet that expectation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these concerns with your staff so that other guests do not have a similar experience.

Honselty the food is great but the service there is bad. We got there a few minutes early and one of the host told us to seat anywhere but when we sat down on the sushi side they told us we had to move that we couldn't be on the sushi side, we were confused because they have told us it was fine.. we didn't like that so my wife and I left.

Their employee went around people’s homes/apartments to drop off coupons. One of the employees, came through my back patio gate -where I had a trash can blocking the gate and pushed it to get to my patio to drop off a coupon by my door. Completely unacceptable. It is not my front door and even if it was, if my gate is closed and there is a trash can blocking it, don’t open it. If he didn’t close the gate all the way, my dogs could have gotten out. Don’t push boundaries. I told him to not do that again and I called the business and no accountability at all.
