Really bad experience. Food was ok, portion sizes were laughable. This was the "large" guacamole.

Went to this place for the first time because we had a coupon. We both ordered burritos. Staff was kind and efficient. The food was........awful. Both burritos were cold, even though they went through that tiny little warmer thing, and the salt/sodium was through the roof. We actually threw the other two coupons we had in the trash. Not going back. It's unfortunate, but honest. You want something like this, head to a Chipotle. Same concept there, much better food. Wish I could say otherwise... But I can't.

The food tasted good, but the burrito bar line was gross looking like it had been sitting for a long time. Also, lots of near empty items. My burrito was soaked and fell apart immediately. Two entrees was $30. Not at all worth it.

I had Cafe Rio once before at another location, and I loved it. I took my husband here tonight, and it was a terrible experience. Food was dried up and meat look over cooked and hard from sitting there all day. The tortilla was burnt. And when I told the lady to explain how it worked, she looked at me weird. I told her to explain how it works here. And it was like a cat had her tongue. Very little response, no excitement, and I could barely hear her. Then another guy came to finish the 2nd part of the prep. He didn't explain anything either. He just said, everything on it? And we were like, what's everything. That man was very short and very rude. Even my husband asked the man's name, he said, "I don't have to speak to you." We thought the service was awful. The meat was also cold. It was not that tasty. Never coming back again. Staff at San Dimas location was unfriendly.

I love cafe Rio food and I have been to dozens of them across the country. This location by far is the SLOWEST out of all I've eaten at. They need to speed things up. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to get my food when there are only 10 people in line. Other than that its great food. Update: don’t get the shrimp tacos. Look at the picture. This trash was 6 bucks.

Was suppose to be carne asada burrito but it's only rice and beans!!!! No Carne Asada!!! Also ordered carne asada taco and was in chicken taco, ordered a spicy hatched pork taco and got sweet pork, my whole order was wrong $40 dollars down the drain and it was to late to go back to return since it was almost 9 pm.

Yeah, I’m sorry for my four tacos and my small portion of beans and rice and how bad the meat taste in my Carne asada tacos it’s insane that I paid $33 I’m highly disappointed due to it being my first and last time eating here I honestly should have just went to chipotle at least the meat taste good, fresh and seasoned

2.69$ for 2oz of guacamole on the side… Long stems on the cilantro, and didn’t even fill the bowl completely with food. Terrible quality and way overpriced. Will not return

We have ordered using the Cafe Rio app multiple times now all from the San Dimas store and every time our order is wrong! Mind you the app lets you be exact in what you want and don’t want! The prices are out of control!!! I paid $12.79 for this taco!

I am fairly certain that my toddler and I got food poisoning from the food here. We went 12/8, and the restaurant smelled kind of unpleasant and while they were working on my order, I noticed how old and crusty some of the food and containers looked. The finished foods did not taste like it was worth almost $50, and our tacos were basically just chicken sitting in liquids. It was really unpleasant and I wish I had cancelled our order and left. The manager was really nice though, but I got the sense that he was being very overworked and working with a lot of incompetent staff.

Ordered burritos online and both times they didn’t put the salsa on the side. This time I checked before I left and asked them for the salsa I ordered. They refused to give me the salsa and said you have to order it. I said I did. After 5 minutes of them arguing with me, I pulled up my receipt and showed them it was on my receipt. Then I got home and my burrito was ripped (photo attached). This place is not worth the headache. Don’t bother.
