What a view… Definitely a must see in Savannah. The food was amazing from the starter plates to the entrées, and the praline cheesecake was absolutely one of the best desserts I’ve had out here. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful and definitely one of the best old fashions I’ve had. Looking forward to coming back again in the future..

Mayra was amazing at tending to my needs at the bar and made fabulous drinks! I opted for the lavender martini and a lavender French 75 and they were AMAZING! Her confidence is shown through her expertise in creating the perfect cocktail

Enjoyed a fantastic sunset dinner on the terrace at Lavender Rooftop Kitchen and Bar. Service was excellent, food and drinks were terrific, and the view was exceptional! Location is perfect as it’s at the quieter south end of the riverfront. Much less noise. Highly recommend a visit here for a great meal with incredible views.

After a long day of business meetings, I enjoyed a wind down at the bar and Mayra was amazing! Drinks were top notch and her attention to the guests was well! I will return!

This was a great find! Super chic 😍 Our waiter John was really nice, super attentive, and gave great recommendations. The chef Antonio even came out to bring our food, which was such a nice touch 🔥 Everything we ordered tasted amazing. Definitely will be back when in town!

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the river. I am from the Philadelphia suburbs and this was my (and my partners) first time in Savannah. Our friends bought us dinner here and it was enjoyable. The service was quick, precise and friendly (Thank You Travis!). As a vegetarian, there wasn’t too much for me to choose from. What I did choose from, I will say that the portions were small for their price point. I can understand upscale fine dining but this was a stretch for me. Of what I did have, it was all very good. We were also able to enjoy the scenes of a production company and crew shooting a movie on the riverfront as we were dining and that was enjoyable.

Apps and main courses were phenomenal. Drinks were crafted to perfection and the atmosphere is very classy and relaxing! This is an up and coming Savannah staple for sure! Compliments to the staff!

What a nice surprise this was! Aaron, our server was engaging prompt and anticipated our needs. His goal was our comfort and enjoyment on a chilly evening. We had a ball and WILL be back!

We celebrated our anniversary this past weekend and stopped by this bar—and wow, what a treat! The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Mayra. They were so genuinely excited for us that they snapped a photo and surprised us with a special cersei to remember the night. The drinks were delicious (and trust me, that’s saying something—my husband is quite the picky, well-seasoned drink critic). We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend—you won’t be disappointed!

Omg although we got here after the sunset , the view was amazing. The service was amazing. Mayra makes the best drinks . That girl knows how to make a drink . I will definitely recommend this place. If you want great service ask for Mayra . She is top tier .

This place is excellent. There is a lovely view of the harbor and the food is delicious. I had the peach salad with shrimp, an AC spritz and the Leopold’s berry honey lavender ice cream. The salad was well balanced with a sharp cheese, arugula, and balsamic drizzle. The peaches added a nice sweetness and the shrimp (which I added) was perfectly grilled. The AC spritz is an aperol spritz with gran marnier and orange bitters. The berry honey lavender ice cream (which is blueberry) was tremendous and served with kettle corn. I would absolutely eat here again.

I came there with the Mint Julep Queens and our bartender Mayra was a gem! Something was wrong with my bill and she went above and beyond to make it right. Impeccable service and the views are spectacular 👗👸🏻

Great evening in Savannah…early anniversary dinner at the Lavender Rooftop Kicthen & Bar. Kieare was a wonderful server, the view, atmosphere and music were perfect (90’s hits always are), and the bartenders and chef prepared delicious…everything The Grilled Romesco Steak was tender and flavorful, and came in a generous portion. The green beans and mashed potatoes complimented it perfectly. We embraced the lavender theme and had a lavender martini which was refreshing, lemon lavender pound cake and blueberry honey lavender ice cream that complimented one another, and the unexpected addition of popcorn was a nice surprise.

I went for the views, and they did not disappoint! My dad was visiting from out of town, and I wanted to show him a great time. I ordered the short rib, delicious. My dad had the tacos and said they were excellent. Our server, Aaron, was knowledgeable, professional, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful rooftops I’ve visited in Sav, not just for the views, but for the service too. Our server was attentive the entire time and did an amazing job with his recommendations. The drinks were spectacular, and the manager, Paola, made sure our table was taken care of throughout the night. Such a great experience overall. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

I went to this hotel rooftop restaurant for the magnificent review. I didn’t realize the food would blow me away as well as the view. We had an amazing meal from start to finish. The paella and Spanish meatballs were my personal favorites. I’d also recommend the seasonal craft cocktails. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. By far the best rooftop in the city!

Stopped into the Lavender Bar for a quick drink while staying at the hotel before an early flight, and it turned out to be a great decision. The bar itself is excellent—great atmosphere, a really nice view, and a well-thought-out drink menu. The beer selection, in particular, stood out, with several strong options, including local beers, which was a nice surprise for a quick overnight stay. They have a bunch of Service Beer Co. beers on draft - other than at the brewery, it’s tough to find a more diverse selection of their stuff! Speaking of service, the staff’s service was smooth and welcoming, and Mayra, in particular, was attentive and friendly… and super knowledgeable about the beer. Enjoyed chatting with her and with a few other folks at the bar. Everything about the experience felt easy and well run. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or just nearby, it’s absolutely worth stopping in for a drink. Overall, a great spot with a great vibe, great views, and great service! Definitely will be a stop for me on my next Savannah trip!

She brings a positive, professional attitude to the service provided and treated us with genuine respect and care. Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and knowledge of the menu made a noticeable difference in the overall guest experience. It is employees like her that helps to keep operations running smoothly, which means she's a valuable asset to the restaurant, therefore the establishment is fortunate to have her on their team. During my stay at the AC Hotel Savannah, the bar has consistently been the best part of the property. Mayra stands out for her great service and easygoing, upbeat attitude. She keeps things moving, makes solid drinks, and brings a really nice energy to the space. Frances is also excellent — friendly, efficient, and always professional. Overall, the bar staff here makes the hotel a noticeably better experience.

We came here for our anniversary. It was great and Aaron our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and attentive. He made our special day very memorable. We will definitely come back!

Do yourself a favor and try the lavender martini and short ribs. Don’t forget the lavender ice cream or the cheesecake. You won’t be disappointed. Travis was a fantastic server and we had such a wonderful time. Food and portions were GREAT!!! Will definitely recommend to others and come back for special occasions. The view on the deck was the best view on all of river street, better than any other rooftop restaurant or bar, hands down!

We came out for my birthday and our server Caleb made it so special, everything about the menu was explained and sounded so delicious I couldn’t decide so he did it. It was my best decision of the evening. He brought out a selections of small plates ( The Crispy potatoes, fried chicken wings, Albondigas and the Croquettes ) it was all flavorful and we shared the Palleas. I was so full but light I floated softly back to my car. It was a lovely evening with Caleb.

The Christmas Dinner family-style meal was excellent - especially the prime rib and roast quail - and we look forward to returning to try the regular menu soon. The views are the best in town, and the outdoor seating makes the most of the west and north facing terraces. We had a gorgeous sunny day to enjoy the views of downtown and the river. I'm only sorry that we left before sunset.

It was really nice I didn’t take pictures but I had the prime beef and my wife had the ropa vieja and it was delicious it tasted like grandma’s food! 100% recommended. Our server was Lilly and she was so nice

Had such a great experience at Lavender! I had a reservation for my 21st birthday dinner and got amazing service from Aaron. Attentive to everyone the whole night and very patient with us and our large party. Food was great and overall a wonderful experience. We even got a cute polaroid at the end of the night! I would highly recommend this place for a nice dining experience, I’d love to come here again soon.

Had the pleasure to eat quite a few meals here because of a work trip. It's kind of pricey for what you get, but all the dishes I had were very high quality and tasty I tried the tacos, short rib, wings, beet salad and the ceasar. I think all of them were tasty and flavorful, nothing was crazy must try but I think the ingredients and way it was cooked was a joy to eat

We stopped by Lavender for drinks only. When we walked up, they announced they were no longer taking walk-ins. There were several couples hoping to eat who were turned away, which was disappointing to see. We were able to order drinks, and they were good! However, we weren’t able to stay and enjoy them at the bar like we planned because we were told there wasn’t any room and they weren’t allowing any guests in. That part was frustrating, especially since it’s advertised as a bar and lounge. Overall, the drinks were enjoyable, but I do wish we could have sat and fully experienced the atmosphere instead of having to leave right after.

Go for the atmosphere and river view. The seating was comfortable, and even on a hot evening it was great to sit on the patio. The food was just okay I had the peach salad, which was mostly lettuce with a few peach slices, and wouldn’t order it again.

Had an ok time visiting Lavender recently. It’s a beautiful view from the top of the hotel overlooking the Savannah River. Only main issues was that it seems understaffed and the smash burger I ordered wasn’t actually a smash burger at all. Will give this place another try, could have just been an off night!

The view is beautiful and right now the bar is not super busy since it's a newer hotel in Savannah. I do want to come back and try again after they have had more training and get into the swing of things. I am a Celiac which means I can't have gluten. Gluten includes all forms of wheat including barley, and malt. I was super excited to see that they had Daurra Damm as a beer option because it is a beer I can drink that is gluten removed. The server was unable to find that beer and instead brought us samples of the Tropicalia and local brewery Hoplin'. I live in Savannah and know for a fact that these beers are NOT Gluten Free. I tried to talk to the server but she swore up and down that these beers are gluten free and say so on the bottle. I know for a fact that this not true but did not want to "argue" as it was easy to order a cocktail instead. While the server did offer to get a manager I simply declined because again, I knew what I could drink and with someone who has an allergy, it's my job to take care of me, not the restaurant. With that being said, I also was afraid to order any food or ask what was Gluten free because I did not feel the staff was trained to tell me that answer and for it to be safe. Overall, the view is great but there are other rooftops and bars where I know I can get safe drinks and food that I will visit again before coming back here.

Caesar salad was sub-par; soggy croutons, excessive Parmesan, soggy chilled lettuce - not crisp. Smash burger was sub-par; over cooked, fell apart, bread did not seem fresh, sloppy, beer cheese on half- didn’t fully fill the entire burger, so half seemed dry, tomato and lettuce were soggy and not fresh. For atmosphere- beautiful view with doors open. I’d say down side is the bar has the worst TV placement for anyone coming in to have a drink/eat and watch Monday night football , because the TV is literally at the back of the people sitting at the bar so the people sitting there had to turn sideways or all the way around away from their food/drinks to see the game (could be a better layout). Bar-tenders were friendly and respectful. Have “cheesecake” on the menu, but when requested inform they don’t have cheese cake But a pound cake, and the pound cake is over priced and seems like the purchased at a store and put a little honey and 4 blueberries on it and it’s drily

I went here on 2/13 and was expecting a nice, romantic early Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife. For starters, the restaurant’s ambience looked nothing like what was advertised, super bright lighting. We waited 20 minutes before being acknowledged. When we finally were noticed, we waited another 10 minutes afterwards. While sitting down, we noticed 3 different people walk up looking for a manager. My wife asked them what the issue was and if the food was worth it, which should’ve been an obvious no but she was curious nonetheless. They explained that they had been waiting over an hour for their appetizers/drinks, which is unacceptable. They also explained how other tables had been waiting even longer and how they practically had to fight and/or find their server to actually get their check and leave because they were so hungry. Obviously, this wasn’t good news so we asked to cancel our reservation so we weren’t charged a cancellation fee. Aside from the point, but we also heard the “host” telling hotel guests that they couldn’t even grab a drink from the bar, which is unheard of. I also noticed several other bad reviews from that night. I think the management and staff need a wake up call. I’ve never had a dining experience like this in my life, mind you I didn’t even get to sit down and it was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially on a special occasion unless you want to be annoyed.

Absolutely terrible experience. We waited 20 minutes just to be acknowledged by the host, who was walking around holding an empty tray and acting like helping guests was beneath him. He bluntly told anyone without a reservation to leave, took our name, then had us sit another 10 minutes with zero updates. As someone who has worked every FOH position, this level of disorganization and attitude is shocking—especially on Valentine’s Day weekend. While waiting near the front, two separate parties approached the stand asking for a manager because they’d been waiting over an hour for drinks or even a first course—and this was a pre-fixe menu. Waiting that long for a salad is ridiculous. They said multiple tables around them were dealing with the same thing and some had to practically argue just to get their checks and leave. After hearing that, I asked for a manager myself to cancel our reservation and make sure we wouldn’t be charged. The manager was polite and did offer a gift card, which I appreciate, but the damage was already done. We were only in Georgia for one night and chose this place for a special early Valentine’s dinner, and it completely missed the mark. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually values guests. If you want a far better experience for half the price, The Cotton Exchange is a short walk away.

We came here on 2/13/26 and unfortunately had a terrible experience. They were terribly understaffed, it took 10 minutes for anyone to even come to the hostess stand and acknowledge us. We saw a group of 3 people come and complain to the manager about not getting their food in over an hour, not being acknowledged, etc. My boyfriend still wanted to give the place a shot hoping that the complaints would help change things for the rest of the night. Unfortunately we had the same experience. Sat at the table for 15 min before being acknowledged, we ordered our appetizer and main dishes right away, it took 30 minutes for our wing appetizer to come out, and we never even saw our main dishes. We just asked for the ticket to leave because we were so hungry at this point and had been there for an hour and a half, only had received our app and drinks. They gave us free cheesecake and one of our main dishes that were ready on our way out so that was nice of them. My boyfriend wants to give them another shot because he thinks we just caught them on a bad night. We’ll see. I feel bad for the servers. I hope they had a relaxing night off after that night. I also hope management steps up and fixes whatever was going wrong last night.
