We visited for the first time 1/13 and it happened to be happy hour. Half off appetizers and certain alcoholic beverages through 6pm. Edit for clarification - to get the happy hour discount, you must order an alcoholic beverage. We were welcomed with chips and salsa after being seated. Staff was friendly and checked in on us frequently. Food, drinks, and dessert were delicious! Only oddity from the visit was a drip from the ceiling. Can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit to return!

Good food. My kids enjoyed the robot that brought out drinks. They make the guacamole at table side. My son enjoyed the mango juice. I first tried their food at a booth at the Duluth Fall Festival, and this my first time dining at the restaurant.

Terrazas is nestled in the plaza off 141 near corner of Abbots Bridge & Medlock Bridge Road. The level of service is amazing, consistent, and food is always excellent, which is why it has become our regular go to. The guacamole tableside is a treat, servers mix it fresh. We love the flavors in the burrito bowl and taco salad. It feels elevated and more satisfying from the standard fare elsewhere. The steak fajitas are delish- the peppers and onions are mixed with the most tender meats. There is plenty of seating for families and groups, patios outside as well as comfortable booths inside. Once you visit this group, you won’t go elsewhere, because they are the best.

Finally a place with drinks that have fresh ingredients and not artificial sweeteners! The drinks were so good! The service, drinks & food were all great! The inside is fairly large plus they have a large outdoor patio! I would of liked a tad more cheese on the tacos and for them to come with sour cream (it's an additional charge), but overall I think we found our new favorite spot!

Excellent food and service - Adriana took good care of us! This was my first time here and it was simply great. They have lots of interesting choices and the flavors were on point with everything. I had the Terraza steak and it was tender and tasty. The salad on the side was a nice surprise as well. The chips are very light and crispy - love that but I wasn’t too keen on the salsa. The Terraza dip was delicious but tiny and not worth the $14.99. I definitely want to go back and try other dishes and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in that area.

1/12/2024: Excellent service as always. The Cantarito is my absolute new favorite drink, you have to try it! The tortilla soup is the best soup I’ve ever had, again it was amazing tonight. I tried the Birria rolls appetizer tonight, highly recommend! 1/4/2024: Excellent service as always and the ribeye with bacon wrapped shrimp was so tender and delicious! The Cantarito is now my favorite drink, sooo good! Update 8/25/23: I just had the best soup I think I have ever had in my life, the chicken tortilla soup is to die for! Jessy was an amazing server, she was attentive, and I never had to ask for anything from her, she was on point with extra napkins, and consistently checked on me throughout my meal. The manager was very professional and I forgot to get his name, but he is very proud of their authentic Mexican menu. Can’t wait to try the other soups on the menu thanks to his recommendations. Also, they have improved their chips since my last visit, and they are super thin and crispy, they were delicious! 5/5/23: I have over 20 years of hospitality experience and I was impressed by the service and food this evening! Since it is cinco de mayo I expected slow service since every Mexican restaurant is packed tonight. I was sat right away and had my drink in my hand within a couple of minutes. My food arrived 10-15 minutes after I ordered it, which is excellent timing.

Nice selection of tasty Tex Mex dishes. The classic margaritas are really good too. We had the vegetarian nachos and they were loaded with vegetables- corn, mushrooms, potatoes, green peppers, and more. They also use a nice queso on the nachos which makes them even better. And if you like it spicy their habanero sauce might have been my favorite part of the meal.

I liked this place! The food was served hot and cooked medium as requested. In the past I have had steak that is chewy and over cooked. You must order a dish with chili Relleno... it was excellent. The server was tentative though out our dinner👍 Many places they serve the food and don't come back until tip time. I wish they had red salsa and not just roasted one. Overall, solid 8.5 out of 10

Came for a random Saturday lunch around 1p. Parking was easy, as there is a free parking lot. Never used the restrooms, so can’t speak on that. First time here and it wasn’t busy, I think only 1-2 other tables full. Pretty dead to be honest. We ordered the Birria tacos and ribeye tacos. Nachos and salsa came out for free while you wait for your food. The Birria tacos were horrible, NO TASTE. When I say no taste, I mean not even salt to give it a basic flavor. Even with the sauce on the side it was bland than bland can be. The meat texture was good, just wish there was some flavor. The ribeye tacos were better, but I think it was only due to the guacamole. It was a good try and the portions seemed big, but I wouldn’t come here or recommend it. Flavors were really disappointing. You can pick rice or beans with the tacos. See pics.

We have been coming here consistently for a while. The quality of the service has declined and the prices have increased over time. The happy hour deal used to be a good deal but now they limit the amount of appetizers to one per person. They have a cool robot who delivers drinks to the table. You don’t need to make reservations they typically aren’t busy unless it’s Cinco de Mayo. I highly recommend going to La Parilla down the street for food and this place for drinks only. If you’re going to get food here, I recommend the Terraza dip and/or the Birria rolls. The dip has a good amount of meat to cheese ratio, and the rolls are pretty fulfilling. Overall, I will probably return for Happy Hour only.

The food was very small Portioned. My steak way over cook extremely tough and nearly impossible to cut. Salsa was bland. Rice on everyone's food was dry. Plating was elegantly done with great appearance. Very nice decor and atmosphere It was over priced for Portions size and basically zero flavor, I had to really salt and pepper 🌶 the food. Chicken 🐔 terraces it wasn't a full greasy just a cutlet. Coke was flat.

We dined on a Saturday night around 8 PM, so, peak dinner time in my experience. The dining room was pretty empty, and I think I might know why. The service was good but everything feels overpriced for what you get. The food was just ok. You can get the same, or better, Mexican food elsewhere for cheaper.

I have gotten thier paella few times in the past and it was always excellent. The flavor used to be great and to top that off they used to put a whole lobster on top. Fast forward to two day ago. No lobster, which I was disappointed, but I would still have been happy if it tasted good. The taste was not great but just okay. What really got me upset was that they put a lot of whole shrimps in it. With head and all. Not peeled. There were a lot shrimps which made the dish quite large because a lot of shrimps with heads were burried in it. Beheading and peeling the shrimps took a lot of effort, which made the dish totally not worth getting.

I went to Terrazas for dinner on Feb 18 and in addition to eating there, I also ordered a seafood burrito to go. My server, Angelo, gave me the burrito packed in a to go container. He later came back and said they made another one by mistake. Then he said let me go back and check with the kitchen. He again came back and said that wasn’t mine and had a wrong ticket. Mine is what he gave me earlier. I ate the burrito next day and found this was beef. I don’t eat beef and had to throw it away. I understand this could have been a mix up but food isn’t cheap to throw away. I hope they read my review and be careful to give the right item. This could have been a medical emergency if there was a food allergy.
