I like their breakfast on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday Only). I also enjoy their lunch and dinner items on weekdays and weekends. Golden Corral on Stockton blvd is the only American style buffet in Sacramento county.

I'd love to be able to afford coming there more often. Always great food and wide selection of dishes. Just disappointed that I couldn't combine my veteran and senior discounts this time even though you've done that for me and my senior veteran friend in the past. (That was the ONLY reason I couldn't give you five stars for this visit.)

This is a pretty clean location, and the service is good. It's not the biggest of the few locations that I've visited, but it is also in a nice area. They also do a good job of staying on top of the bathroom cleanliness.

I haven't been here in years, but decided to try again. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the food was. Fried chicken was not dry. Pizza was hot and desserts not dried out. Not a huge selection of food, but everything was good and servers were very good about clearing plates and refilling drinks. Great price considering how much fast food is charging.

Excellent customer service. Went for my birthday. My meal was free with the purchase of my dates meal. Steak is made to order cooked to your taste (medium rare), loved their mashed potatoes, fried chicken was perfectly seasoned & fried to perfection without a greasy aftertaste. The pot roast was juicy & tender. The rolls fresh, warm & soft. Their fried shrimp were large with the perfect batter. There's a nice variety of vegetables to choose from. Their sweet potatoes were smooth with the perfect toasting of marshmallows on top. Their dessert bar had a good variety of cakes, pies, cookies & pudding. Took the grandkids. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was just okay but the bread pudding was delicious! It's way too expensive for what they serve, but given the state of the country it's to be expected. Unfortunately, we wouldn't go back.

This is a big difference from the now closed location on Watt. I went last Tuesday. The food is good, a decent variety but upkeep of the location is terrible (see stain on front of building and condition of toilet). I went about an hour after opening and used the bathroom almost immediately. There was a mud colored smear on the restroom stall floor which I can only assume with out testing was human in nature. How a restaurant can ignore such obvious cleaning needs is beyond me. I also saw numerous tables left un-bussed for my entire visit. The lack of care and upkeep really is hurting this location. You can do better and need to take ownership of your location.

For some reason, every single time I go, the meat carvers always seem hesitant to want to serve the meat. Lol. Like they'll see you walk up, and they'll just stand there for a minute or two, then come to you, kind of look at you for a second, I don't know, it just seems strange. Price is so expensive. I remember when it used to be around 15 bucks. But it's now almost 27 bucks for one person. But if you don't want to cook a full course meal at home...🤷🏽‍♂️

Let’s say this is someone’s first time here and you paid over $20 a person to not only see many many trays empty needing to be restocked but staff behind the buffet counters telling you to wait as they walk around. If it was your first time and seeing this I know I wouldn’t return. Front desk staff not attentive and not with just me but others distracted but at least she told me sit anywhere. As a traveling nurse going from location to location yes everywhere is short staffed from restaurants to hospitals everywhere, in the end if you come to the hospital I’m at or I go to your restaurant professional customer service is what we can hope for. Today i would have given this location 2Stars. The location was clean, plenty of parking, and Only Only when a lady in a green shirt (assuming management) saw me taking these photos told a staff member did it create an urgency to get the empty trays refilled and get the staff actually moving. If it wasn’t for her comment I do believe the slow moving negative energy would have just continued. So I thank that person giving this location a 3 Star because of someone making something happen. Even had another customer beside me ask the gentleman staff member behind in the cooking area if any other food is coming out and he was met with the same heart felt negative answer I heard earlier. Everything is cooking need to wait. My server was a young lady by the snack area was very nice and checked in on me and others around me often. Today everything looked unprepared, slow, and negative from upon entering your establishment to try to get the food to eat.

Stopped in on a Sunday evening around 6:30. The place was a train wreck. You could tell they had gotten way behind during the lunch rush and hadn’t caught up. Low food prep, no steaks cooked, very few ribs, salad bar wasn’t stocked, no cookies, two pie options & bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Our service was good and food tasted as expected. We didn’t feel as if our visit met the cost charged for the meal.

I always select the food to go BUT lately it has just been a hassle trying to get through the line, get containers and condiments. It's pure chaos. I like to take the grill steaks and I have to fight with them about containers for some steak sauce and some butter for the yeast rolls. How can my steak fit in those little containers in the front, they usually go in the back and grab me a steak container large enough. Now all of a sudden it's a hidden gem. The quality of the sides have gone down and it taste like hospital food. Service is slow, food is lack luster, and the bathrooms are gross 🤢

It really depends on the day and time. Senior early bird buffet is between 1pm - 3pm and is less expensive but the good stuff doesn't come out until sometime after that. That means no steak, ribs. Just ham which I didn't bother with! Between 1pm - 3pm everything was overcooked and tried out and old. They really need to do something about the desserts! Pretty much all the desserts need to be thrown out and replaced with fresh and better ideas! Employees are also hard to come by. I had to go the the counter and ask for soda refills and put our dirty plates on the table behind us because nobody came and cleaned up.

I kept asking for a medium rare steak. The grill guy server is a jerk. He never once gave me a steak that I asked for. It is either well done or raw. What a waste of money. I'm a chef. I went here with a large group of people. In my group there were the total of 25 people. The last time I was at Golden coral was in 2000 at the Golden corral located off hammer lane in Stockton, CA. I invited a group of friends total 25 people. As I arrived at Stockton ca. Location found that this restaurant location was no longer there. I Google maps and found one on Stockton rd in Sacramento CA. The food was horrible, the person serving the ribs, steaks and pork roast was very rude. Most of people in my group requested the steak well done. Well my steak and my guests steaks were not well done. We cut into our steak and the center had blood. The server of the steak counter was rude when we requested well done and without blood. They advertised at the entrance door lobster tail. When we requested lobster tail they had none. Overall the food was not great. People that were clearing tables of used plates provided great service. We will not return to this restaurant.

Disgusting is the only way I can describe this place. It has fell off tremendously since I have been here in 2016. The ice cream is pure water, the selection of food for dinner is non-existent, and the food presentation is far below. This whole place needs a rebrand and new management because at this rate with the way the food looks I don’t see it lasting long. The pizza had a doughy taste and the fried chicken looked dry. They also didn’t have french fries or sliders out; not much kid friendly foods except for the pizza. Everyone one was indecisive on what to put on their plates that they kept going to the same few items ie.(fried fish,shrimp, and steak). Everyone who has left positive reviews for this place clearly have no food standards and will consume anything. I believe in living in the TRUTH and this place has fell off completely. Smdh Disappointing.

Well over a week ago I left a review on the app expecting a response but as of now have not heard from anybody. Actually I left 2 reviews. Here is the thing I when in to eat a turkey dinner talk to the chef and ask are those turkey bones there? He said there two legs and a thigh 😳 i said and what's the other? (The bottom bones turn up side down with no meat) He said we have to serve this before we put out any more! I waited for over 1hr as I mentioned it to a few servers, I tried to be to be patient and not rude. Finally, I mentioned it again to the same server. And she went up and talked to the chef, he then pulled out what look like some leftover turkey by that time I had lost my appetite and felt embarrassed to had have to ask for something I paid for so I left. I tried to eat something else. But that's not what I paid for very disappointed. Have not heard anything from anybody.I will post some pictures. BTW take a look at the Turkey bones upside down. Also, the dried up roast beef and dried up ham.

This place literally disgusted me! Unsanitary, over crowded and many items were completely out. None of the staff was focused in on cleaning up the food areas and no one seemed to be happy to work there. I was extremely disappointed at the variety of food because it was tailored towards the people in the area and not exactly was golden corral is known for in addition everything seemed to be room temperature. With the reputation this company was given in the past you would think they would have regular meetings and a bit more staffing to ensure their guests are satisfied. After speaking with the waitress she seemed to agree with everything I had mention only to walk away instead of asking if there was anything she could do to satisfy my visit. I blame Management as this is a direct hit on their reputation. Not to throw the race card out there but I was happy hearing the service in Spanish to the guy getting ice cream and the lovely giggly personality the lady had with him. I was up next and she quickly asked me what ice cream I wanted, didnt make eye contact and when I said thank you she said uh huh and walked back to whatever she was doing. I am a light skinned Mexican almost passing for Caucasian and I can clearly see how I got treated so differently by her. I can literally write a book on my experience however the pictures will explain it all! I hope me nor anyone else in my party gets sick but then again I wouldn't be surprised!
