I live around the corner and have heard the bustle of the karaoke bar on a weekend night. I decided to walk in, and it was one of the best impromptu decisions I made. The acoustics were amazing for singing, and the crowd was a joy to be around! The best part was meeting Ralph (the owner) who took great care of us and made everyone feel welcomed. I definitely coming back!

NEW MANAGEMENT made this place a theater kid’s HEAVEN!! The new owner Warren is literally the nicest dude ever - super welcoming, came up to us to introduce himself - he’s incredibly polite and he keeps the vibe super happy, upbeat and fun!! I wish I could gatekeep this spot but Warren truly deserves a chance to revamp the reputation of this place. Will 100% be back!

Under new management!!! I don’t know what the previous owner was like before but I stumbled into this spot bc of the new sign and the new owner immediately welcomed us in. We got to sing a bunch of songs, enjoy the happy hour, and have a new go to spot on this side of town.

I frequent plenty of other Karaoke spots, and this is one of my favorites for acoustics and frequency of being able to sing. The regular crowd here is very welcoming and never too intimidating as well, which I love! The owner is also down to earth and checks in with us every time we’re here. Something you just can’t get regularly. Last…the crew is attentive and makes sure drinks are reloaded as well!

Had a nice time! The bad reviews don’t understand how a karaoke bar works and sound delusional. Owner was very nice. Got free snacks too. One drink minimum per person is totally fair. Definitely coming back 👍

Attentive and thoughtful staff. Great vibe, it's the perfect place to keep/get the party going after dinner, especially with a group of friends. Drink pricing is reasonable for the size, and they were delicious. Left feeling motivated to practice my abysmal falsetto in the car to prepare for our next visit!

What a great night at Karaoke Bleu! I wasn't there to sing as I just wanted a drink. I initially went to another place down the street, but they had a private party, oh well. Everyone was nice and friendly, plus there was no pressure to sing. The owner was next-level amazing, a connoisseur of some solid Japanese whiskeys. I would have gone back the next night but had to nurse a baby hangover. I'll stop by the next time I'm in the area, perhaps sing a song if I have the right amount of drinks; I mean courage juice! This place reminds me of a strip club but without the strippers. Thata mostly because of the lighting and smells. They play the music very loud so don't expect to come here to talk with your friends. The bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door.

One drink per person required or $5 nondrinkers fee. No exceptions $10 minimum credit card tabs. There were too many rules and I was made to feel bad because I'm pregnant and only drink water. My server jazmin was wonderful and the bartender was cool. But they have to follow strict rules.

Not very happy when we paid for our tab and left as the waitress ran after to ask if we paid already. No apology at all. Needs to do better to stay in business.

We were there, a group of 14 people, the biggest table of the night, and we just sang songs 10% of the night. OMG! Unbelievable!!! We were respectful and kind, not even a single drama, we were just “why?” and someone said he “he is who decide who sings who not”. Anyway, in our group, there were 3 actual singers, he just didn’t like us. For no reason!!!

TERRIBLE PLACE. We like to support local business in our neighborhood and we really wanted to give this karaoke a chance… awful mistake. We have never been treated with such disrespect in a place before. And of course, they tried to blame it on you. No surprise I’m getting to read a lot of reviews stating the same. Clearly the owner/manager has no idea of what customer service is. He is rude and aggressive. The staff was good, but this man should not be running a business.

EDIT: everything stated in the owner’s response is a complete lie. did not have a friend join us, was explained a different policy at the door than stated below, did NOT order a $15 drink and expect it for $10 😂 and definitely did not get a free shot! would not recommend coming here Came in while waiting on our reservation at another nearby place. The lady at the front told us it was $10 minimum for per person for drinks if we came in and we were fine with that. We ordered and went to pay and the server told us it was actually $15 minimum. We were not planning on spending more than $10 each which was why we ordered drinks that were $10. They ended up overcharging us $16.25 per drink and the bartender was super rude about it. Our server was nice though. Would recommend going somewhere else for karaoke or be prepared to spend a minimum of $15 even if the host tells you it’s $10

The other 1-star reviews on here are 100% accurate and similar to my own experience, so I take some comfort in knowing that my awful experience at Karaoke Bleu was not the exception. A group of us went here for a co-worker's birthday party. We walked in and saw that the place was empty (I now know why). Despite us being their only customers for the night, the owner demanded that we sit in the back, as far from the karaoke stage as possible. I remain confused on why. Wouldn't he want the place to look full, and for his customers to feel welcome? Apparently not. After we indicated that we were happy to go to another karaoke bar (it's LA; they're not hard to find), he relented and let us sit up front. The night began. However, the third time the owner demanded that I switch seats (even though I was talking to the people around me), I had had enough and left. Money is too hard to earn to spend it on people who don't want your business. It was interesting, to say the least, to see a karaoke bar that is completely devoid of joy or fun. If you like karaoke or have a friend that likes karaoke, stay away from Karaoke Bleu, and you just might have a decent night.

I would assume that a karaoke bar would want people consistently singing and having fun which would lead me to probably get more drinks but instead I felt pay walled to sing 1 more song. Most of these reviews were under old management but it seems like not much changed with the new team.

A group of 7 of us in high spirits, entered what we believed would be this swanky karaoke bar and did not complain about the minimum of 2 drinks per person. We upheld to their protocol to order, shared karaoke with other patrons and was enjoying ourselves till the owner uprooted and kicked us out prematurely. The owner hounded us to purchase and pay the bill prematurely, and then cut off the party well before their advertised hours with nothing more than a thank you. He cleaned us up before our seats were out of their chairs. For a $200 mandatory tab… this was a pretty ridiculous hour and a half time. Only saving grace is the waitress, you deserve better sweets!

Seeing several similar reviews reassures me that I’m not alone in this experience. I’ve never left a 1-star review before, but I feel it’s important to warn others. I’ve never felt so disrespected and outright appalled by the treatment we received by the older male bartender at Karaoke Bleu. To say our experience was terrible is an understatement. My friend and I were simply there to meet up with our husbands, who had already spent $80 and were about to leave, and all we asked for were two glasses of water. To our shock, the owner refused to give us the water unless we each paid $10 to “join the party.” When we politely questioned this absurd demand, he became incredibly condescending and downright misogynistic. He raised his voice at us for no reason, creating a hostile atmosphere that was completely unwarranted. When our husbands came over to see what was going on, the owner told them to “calm us down” as if we were being unreasonable for wanting basic human decency—two glasses of water! It was degrading, disrespectful, and frankly disgusting to be treated this way. No one should be subjected to such arrogant, demeaning behavior, especially in a place that is supposed to offer a fun and welcoming environment. Karaoke Bleu is a place I will never return to, and I strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs if you value being treated with respect.
