Came here a few days ago with my husband - we absolutely love BEKAH - coolest bartender there, hands down!! Knows her drinks, cooks great food and just makes the time there fun!

Fun local dive bar, ping pong tables, pool tables. Stiff drinks, crispy chicken wings, and friendly staff, Taylor "Taytay" will always be my favorite bartender, just an awesome place to let loose!

I can't even express the amount of memories I have here at the Cowshed. 5 years I've been coming here. Becca is the day time server and I love love love her. She is beyond amazing. The way she interacts with the customers she makes you feel right at home no matter if it's been your first time in or if you are a regular. She's attentive and so caring she cooks amazing food and loves on everyone that walks through the doors I've seen it first hand. She makes the ambiance of this place so homely. The night crew is also amazing Sam, Joey, Nicole and Gorge they are phenomenal. They make your experience here amazing. If you can make your way here just to experience what I have for the last 5 years please do. Ray is the owner and he is always present and that man is beyond amazing. He welcomes you and makes sure to keep you safe from everything others and yourself. I appreciate everyone here you guys are the Core of San Marcos!!!!

This place is always so fun and laid back. Shout out to George, he’s one of our favorite bartenders! He’s always friendly, attentive, and makes everyone feel super welcome! I would definitely recommend visiting!

The food was good and the atmosphere was awesome! The bartender/cook was very friendly and provided great service. This is a bar so you do have to 21+ to eat and show ID so keep that in mind. Overall a great experience and would love to go back.

Cow Shed has reopened and is better than ever. Pool tables rebuilt and play GREAT for first time in YEARS. Bigger JUKEBOX. Karaoke is back. Electronic TOURNAMENT dart board. I didn't try food this time, but i will next visit. I'll hang out there this weekend.

I have come to this place many times.. but my favorite days are when Amber is working.. she is the best cook and bartender.. always takes care of everyone and then when Sam works nights always amazing service.. Saskia is my fav KJ.. the best karaoke shows around.. the best people here.

The cocktails are great and the staff is superb. Ample space to drink and chat with someone without being crowded around you. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the parking is super tight. I barely got my truck out.

Hard to believe this place is located where it is. But then you realize there's a dairy processor, so it is perfect. Very original place to have a drink and quick bite. You can tell it has its regulars, whom are very friendly. Nice selection of beer and finger food. As in any place, make sure to order the specific liquor brand you want, otherwise they will reach for the bottom of the bottom shelf, with a guaranteed headache.

I know it looks like a mixed review. But there's a reason Becca the bartender was high as a kite. There were people waiting and that finally left because she was so out of it. We got overcharged and several other people did. I finally closed our tab because I didn't trust her. Several patrons were waiting for their credit cards. I took my girlfriend to the bathroom because she is blind and our drinks that weren't even finished were taken off the bar. We were overcharged $20 she was obviously impaired. I felt like calling the police. The Cow Shed really needs to work with that out. The other bartenders are fine and the food is good.

She proceeds to get up from her bar stool and get a plastic bag for someone. Directly in front of me about 1 foot from my body. I say, "Oh! You are the bartender?" And I asked is she serving this part of the bar? We are sitting right over here. She said, what do you want? I asked if she serves Cabernet. And my friend is over there and she would like to order what she would like. She says she will come. She asks for our IDs. I get mine out my friend gets hers and Rebecca walks away to hang out at the bar. We sit for another 10+ minutes and she doesn't acknowledge us at all. My friend goes up to her and a customer says, " You have a customer." Rebecca replies, "well if she wants something, then she can ask me." And another 10 minutes we are STILL sitting here.... and now there is another bartender also. And they both are taking drink orders from everyone else except for us. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Not sure why we were discriminated against. I would be very wary to anyone coming to this place.

And a lot of fun. That's about it. Sorry Cow Shed. She needs to know when to stop. I would like to fix this post by saying that it was under the old ownership.

Horrible since the new owners, will not ever be going there again. We were supposed to have it reserved but the staff did not reserve it at all and there were low lifes there trying to steal from our wedding party, smashing glasses and throwing drinks at people that the staff did nothing about
